Yes I have been wondering about what to possibly place on any open chart to get additional trades on. HGI is a candidate. As I am currently watching daily charts, once trades are open, I was thinking about the MMA from Shelly's thread as I am having good success with that method live. For now I just was looking to see if weekly crosses and such would be a good way to get in on long term trades. Maybe I just need to use CSS as confirmation of what I see on the weekly using Shelly's method. Otherwise I am doing the same thing twice. As far as trading extremes, I agree, I have sold EURUSD at the moment as they are both at or near 1/-1. I don't agree that if we see USD turn down and EUR turn up I should start looking to buy EUR. I think I would wait until a cross of the two...right? |

Indeed, but I would start trailing eurusd stops, because you might see a correction unfold, which would eat most of your trending gains. I use manual trading, and watch daily and weekly only, CSS is a very good filter, but I also look at fundamental information and am an avid chart reader, nothing automated, just price action and market profile. I think the HGI rad signals are the best for trend following, and filtering HGI signals in the daily using CSS is probably a very good idea, but I don't have that much experience with it. Here's some of the stuff that I do: Using CSS as a filter, plus fundamental analysis and other manual trading techniques I learnt from Tim West (an analyst from that site), I'm at something like 78% hits for March. Took a long time to develop the methods I use, and getting comfortable with them, but it's definitely worth it. |

Hi All, I see that there is a version of 10.7 CSS called "10.7 CSS.v3.5c_withAlertsCross_ withoutCHF" that doesn't include CHF pairs. Can anyone explain why should we want to exclude CHF pairs from the calculations? Thanks. |
