Hi Aram!
You are right in your explanation of how the basket calculation works today.
And it is possible to implement it.
But do you really Think that this would make a difference?
Because normally your setfile should produce a higher balance anyway...
I have used a combination of trade sl and basket tp sl and if basket TP is 1% then normally the trade losses are below 0.2%, so positive end result anyway.
If you can convince me that this is really needed then I can add it, but preferably in next round as I currently try to stabilize and document what we already have so far.

Nope.. the only thing I can think of is with your much bigger account size you will have some proportionately bigger lot sizes than mine since I think the lot size calculation will round down rather up when looking at balance/equity and my account size is limiting some of these calculations as Zennor explained well earlier in the thread. The disadvantage for me with this is slightly higher risk on the more volatile pairs but the advantage seemingly is lower drawdown (so far).

With the exception of grid EA's I always do my testing with a #500 starting balance because for me that is a maximum amount I am comfortable losing when trading live and is the amount I usually fund my live accounts with.

If I had a 10k account to trade live I would use a much smaller lot factor.. probably around 0.5.. and then smaller basket TP and SL to match (0.25% and -5%) for example.

My demo account has been stuck on the same basket since I posted last night.. but the max drawdown shows as just over 5% and I have refreshed the trade chart indicator to double check for you. Just a waiting game now for this basket to close hopefully...

i have changed PC's added your set file as last attached and set the time locally to London's times zone. So basically a fresh start. I now can not place trades due to error "trade content busy - error 146". So it attempts to trade and bombs out and retrys once more but then quits and loops over and over as trades come available with the same error. Have you seen this before?

Seems the EA is ready to fire a bunch of trades, getting too many signals at the same time perhaps.

MetaCrap4 is only able to handle 1 thread ("action or command") at a time. So when you try to fire 20 buy orders at a particular price, error 146 "Trade Context Busy" will likely be the result.

- Make sure you run only 1 Baluda CSS EA per terminal...!
- Restart Empty4 and try again to see if it happens again (lots of quirks in Empty4).
- Try to disable automated trading, and enable it later today when some of the signals have dissipated.
- If you know how to code you could add " if(IsTradeAllowed())" to the code prior to a market order being opened ("OrderSend()"). The boolean IsTradeAllowed() checks if Trade Context is free.

No, you need to keep trade SL or trade Exit Criteria separate from Basket SL.
So instead of adding hedged trades you can close the failing ones.
That will make it easier to meet BasketTP.

In my code I do test if the Trade context is busy, like this:

	if(IsStopped())return(-1);

And only after that I will call OrderSend.

If the other EA did the same then it would be less problem...

I keep noticing a continuous stream of this error in my terminal:

2016.10.12 20:56:31.011 MADDY_CSS_HGI_Trader5.17Draft EURUSD,H1: Holy Grail Indicator Expired

I did use the latest version and lib which should be valid until jan 2017. What am I missing?
