Nanningbob 10.2 auto-trading EA

Sorry dude, I'm not following this EA. I prefer to enter my 10.2 trades manually. The Shelley EA is just a bonus for me. I can suggest though trying to use MPTM (multi purpose trade manager) for your JSL requirements instead of the EA. Just load it on another chart.

Waiting for the bug where a new trade is immediately closed to reappear, I noticed another anomaly:

Stop loss started to be modified again and again. The EA moved SL closer to current price, but then moved it back to the SL-line again. Looking at the source code I noticed that the SL-line is moved to the new value only if HiddenPips>0 (in function BreakEvenStopLoss). Shouldn't it always move the SL-line?

Often it just means the stop loss you are trying to set is too close to the open price for your broker - many brokers insist on a minimum distance from the open price.

BUT I suspect that in this case it is actually because you have ECN set to false on a broker that demands ECN type trades (separate order send from setting TP/SL).

Can i ask if someone see if a bug occurs with the brokers 4 digits and the latest version of 10.2 ea ?

Because i have a multitude (a ton) of trades which closes with 0 or - 2 pips ?

What should i do ? Is there a new setting i didn't see ?

Edit : i download the ea on first page and the set file procurred by our preferred girl, and it seems to work well this time. On the road again !!

Often it just means the stop loss you are trying to set is too close to the open price for your criminal - many criminals insist on a minimum distance from the open price.

BUT I suspect that in this case it is actually because you have ECN set to false on a criminal that demands ECN type trades (separate order send from setting TP/SL).

Thanks but this too did not work for me. Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz someone help me here. The EA is excellent and gave me lots of pips but until JSL feature starts working I am reluctant to go live with it.

Why not use MPTM for the JSL?

good advice from swg123, i have similar issues with my brokers and the error also come up with MPTM. i use normal trailing stop and the only choices i really have are trailing immediately, or from a certain point like break-even or any pip point i set.
the problem is with the criminals setup. they have a rule for SL's and that is generally twice the spread amount. so each time you want to jump, minimum must be twice your spread. The other problem is when you set it toooo close to that point, that by the time the trade is made, it's no longer twice your spread.
at the end of the day, i kicked everything off my charts and left the ea's i wanted, all set with no SL's or Tp's and i let MPTM handle all of them. including hedging.
if i could marry the dang thing i would, its that good.!!!
