Triggered this basket at 01:20 GMT. I didn't wait for the pairs to cross back across the DP; I used the H1 slope as my entry trigger. When the H1 started to snap back toward the D1, I entered.

Do you folks trigger one basket and stick with it, or do you add on? There were several pairs (EURJPY, EURUSD, EURCAD, etc) that weren't quite ready but I might add them to the basket if they get moving before I go to bed. Adding on makes it a little trickier to manage your risk but nothing too hard.

My trades on the 4H price crossing the blue 5ma for pairs <-.4 and > .4 have done very well so far.

I have a problem with the EA that triggers this trade long, the buy trade signal does not send a trade to my platform , whereas the sell EA works perfectly. Is this something that has been fixed and I did not pick up on it, or is it undiscovered so far?

Alright, who's not in the green? :lol:

I have been looking at these charts (high slope values), and see such deep retracement happening. If such deep retracement swings back to trend direction, that means trend is strong and will continue for a while. I hope this observation is correct.

And if my trades survive day 1, then the next day, I can place SL@BE. If price does its regular retracement, I can add in more orders until price retrace into 5.1 on D1, then we can start closing those trades.

My only concern is the retracement which decides to swing opposite direction for good. This is the only main concern we all will face. ;)

60 pips locked in, will lock in 180 pips JS once it gets up to 360. I have no TP on it -- going to let it run.

I'm kicking myself for not entering on some of the other pairs, but oh well. This is the very first basket I placed with this approach so I'm happy. I'm learning a lot about how the pairs perform and next time I'll probably be less cautious.

Of course, if you enter more pairs, you increase your initial risk. I'm going to have to understand this beastie a lot better before I'm willing to increase the risk TOO much -- and before I'm ready to try it with real cash.

Yes, eventually the trend will turn. We can just hope we get our baskets to BE before that happens.

By increasing more pairs, u are spreading your risk but at the same time, your total lot size is the actual lot you are trading. And you must use that lot size to determine your maximum DD u are able to swallow(which is preferably not more than 2-3% of equity). 8-) IMO
