I don't know if you are aware of this fact: Your TMATrueSlope indicator is always calculating a different D1 slope than the one calculated by Baluda "TMA Slope MTF" no matter what pair is selected.
Only D1 slope is different whereas for all other TFs the slopes are the same for your's and for Baluda's.

OK, I think,I found the answer. Your indicator is integrating directly Sunday candle. When we switch on this option with Baluda's one, we obtain the same D1 slope value.

The TMA is only slightly off from the Diff. In your example (TF M30) it is off about 0.2 to 0.4 points (if I see it correct) which is about the same value when the TMA could/would go in a possible buy mode...
To me it seems like the diff is simply a scale factor of the TMA, which means they cross 0.00 at exactly the same time

Yes it seems like that way...but it is calculated completely different...as you know the Diff is the difference of the two currencies strength slopes (CSS) on the chart...(which are based on the TMA Values of all correlated pairs)

I don't use this indicator anymore since I recognized that the TMAslope and the Diff and also the CSS are so highly correlated. The TMAslope gives me almost the same information as the TMA-CSS-SP indicator and also consumes much lesser resources in doing so.

The TMA is therefore is better to use with multiple charts open and also for EA's, Dashboards...and so on.

You can use any TMAtrue indicator...surely I use my own indicator "NT TMATrue SlopeHisto MTF"

I also use the TMA-Ruletester for some setups and especially for research and analysis.

Hi NT !

I was wondering, could it be possible to add a TMA Slope CTS rule inside the NT RT TMA ?
That would be convenient to be able to set the indi with 3 rules (rule 4: TMA +0.4 or -0.4 ; H1 TMA CTS with CTS entry rules, aka buy when between -0.8/-0.5 and sell when between 0.8/0.5; rule 7 with WP>/<MP) as so we could be able to set up in only one indi all CTS rules :D

Also be able to put a 'max bars' would be great to save RAM and CPU especially for TF like m15 or m30

Neo, just a quick question. I use NT TMA TRUE SlopeHisto MTF as part of my tamplate.
Its set up to show H4 D1 and W1 lines. Is there a chance you could add an alert mode?

Id love to have an option to trigger an alert when H4 crosses D1 (level 1) and when D1 crosses W1 (level 2).

Hi All,

As this thread seems to have almost come to a standstill, I was wondering if anyone live trades using Neotraders "NT TMATrue SlopeHisto MTF" indicator.
I use it all the time and to me it's the best I have ever found, it's a veritable money machine.

I prefer to spreadbet every day between 9.00am GMT to the market close. So far I have not found any pair that doesent have one good trade during the day where I can make between 20-50+ pips. I have attached my trade of today Friday on the EUR/USD.The signal is when any two or more MTF's (Orange) are above their MA's (Magenta) for a BUY or below for a SELL.
The vertical dashed magenta line idicates my entry at the open, the horizontal Yellow dotted lines are set at 25pips apart from the open at entry as a guide on the amount of movement. At the time of writing this, it can be seen that I am almost 75pips to the good with the trade still open. Check it out and see the final score.

There seems to be no posts from Neotrader of late, I hope he is OK as his imput to this site is always needed.
There has not been in my opinion sufficient appreciation shown to him for providing this excellent indicator. I for one am pleased to render my heartfelt thanks. May to pips continue to come, you are the real deal Neotrader.
