+70 pips atm
we'll see!
Harry, I'm in learning mode. Are you following NB rules for these? It appears we're a long way from retracements to the DP or the MA on those pairs. What triggered your entry? Just increasing TMA?

Hi all,
I was out yesterday and most of today and I missed the great move in currencies. But you guys did great job which indirectly confirms the system is more than profitable in trending markets.

@Jem, I put my SL at the same level as TP ie 50 pips just to have RR 1:1 as you have mentioned Jem.
And i thing it is a good point until we find a tuned TP and SL figures for the basket. Going to read it in your new topic *Callout To Coders - A TP/SL indicator for 10.2*

Again nice work mates. Congratulations.

+180 pips. TP or not TP. That is the question.

Hi Tony
You're right, in this instance, I took them based on greater than 1.00 slope value, just breaking above or below pivots, s/r areas and my guess that the moves were not over. Basically, I thought they were breaking from about 24 hours of consolidation and I just jumped on the move. Not recommended! I have lost many times doing that, so, you are right to question it. It is a low probability trade, normally.

The CSS slopes
Most of us have some sort of CSS slope at the bottom of our JemBasket Charts. I am trying to find a way to use them, but do not succeed. Take the attached chart, which we used to describe retracements. Can you recognise some pattern, could you define some strategy? I would appreciate some help. Thanks

Mike, have a good read at the TMA Discussion Thread
and be aware that the time frame of the chart and indi should be the same for a visual back test.
with the 60min. setting the CSS slope could be used as early warning system for a change.

this is just the bit I know, sure there will be experts around for more details..but have a read first.

The diverging and converging of both of the currency slopes are strong indicators of a trend/move change. Also the same with the Diff slope. The Diff can also be used like the TMA since they are highly (almost exactly) correlated. This means Diff above 0 only buys...below 0 only sell...the stronger the Diff gets the stronger the move becomes...

Ohhhh... I checked you Screenshot again... you are still using an old version (v1.0.1) you are on a 4H chart and your CSS is in 1H Mode...please get the latest release v1.0.3. As I have optimized the view for other timeframes...In your version the Timeframes are not directly correlated. The slopes you see are the same as you would see in the 1H TF...but this is not correct for the 4H.

Also the new TMATrue SlopeHisto MTF Indicator of mine could be interesting for you and/or the others...You can watch and analyze the TMA slope of multiple Timeframes.
