I didn't see your post, nor did I see the news about Kuroda. I had been waiting for a pullback ever since I foolishly exited my USDJPY/GBPJPY longs this morning, about 15 hrs ago.

There was a good pullback this afternoon/evening, and then a bit of strength, so I jumped into NZDJPY and EURJPY. About 2 minutes before Kuroda took the stage.

92% are selling the nzd/usd. :) :) :) I'm buying. Got my pending buys ready. If price goes below the daily pivot some more I am placing a pending buy there also.

You can actually subscribe to some news sources ... but honestly, you do not need more than the warning FF gives in advance, of pending important news releases.

And as for the actual news itself - I don't bother even thinking about taking a trade on it ... unless it is a decision NOT to be in a trade :)
Thanks guys, was looking at the myfxbook calendar, and the damn thing didn't shows " Bank of Japan Governor Kuroda Speech" until I did a refresh. :cry:

Guys be careful! gravity always wins! everyone has gone long xxxjpy in anticipation of the big outflow from JGBs into risky assets...but the thing is JGB yields continue to rise (in anticipation pf the nuclear QE) so the incentive for japanese institutions (Lifers, etc..) to rotate into foreign assets drops meaningfully...so beware an air pocket and bigger correction lies ahead first...

gold XAU is the alternative jpy, with potentially larger losses ahead...
