Useful 10.x thingies by Steve and Others

Hi:

I'm thinking on something that gms is very close to. A simple EA that opens/close trades based on H1CSS colour change. Open a buy when last candle closes on yellow or green from red and closes it when last candle closes on red from green or yellow. For sells, just the opposite colours. I have been modifying some parts of the code and have played with it. Looks promising. I like to decide by myself if RSI2 is pinned enough to open the trade (or load the EA) so don't need to add anything else to it in my opinion. Not a full monitoring trade system but something similar to the 5MA cross EA that we used in 10.2. Just my suggestion, hope to contribute.

Nothing easier than that ....

(It is not a script, but an EA that only needs to be attached to one chart in order to monitor and close all open/pending trades.)

Done the script Jem - '10.5 H1 CSS colour change order script.mq4' in post 1. Start thinking about additions to it that you might find useful. I have fully tested it on the M1 chart and it behaves flawlessly.

Just to be clear- does this v0.2 just close trades with CSS color change for all opens/pendings, or does it do what Steve's latest 10.5 CSS script does as in Post 1 today (both open and close trades as asked below by Jemook and Breakdancer)?

Of course a complete but simple EA that only needs to be attached on one chart as opposed to all of them is much preferable ! Especially with email/alerts.

Nope. It is a script you drag onto the chart once you have decided trading is appropriate with the pair. As Jem requested. Or perhaps you didn't bother to read his posts? Bad mistake, in my view.

Actually, this rather dim post highlights that you didn't even read my posts. I am quite surprised you have not yet learned that this is a bad mistake. I particularly hate it when people are too stupid to read my post 1 in any of my threads.

Shall I explain why? If required to do so, I will attempt to use one syllable words in sentences of no more than 5 words, to reflect the intelligence of the asker - you, in this case.

I dropped the script on the usdcad H1 chart and get this message in experts tab:

comment on screen is: looking for a trade
If the CSS turns from gold to red it will it enter a pending at the DP?
It was working - the trade was entered when the bar changed from gold to red. so the message above didn't mean anything.

v0.2 only closes open/pending trades. If you also want to open trades, you need to attach an EA or script (like Steve's) to every single chart.

I am currently experimenting with a version that also opens trades and considers the positions of the 960, the WP, and the RSI-TMA. However, there are some open questions that have to be clarified (e.g. what if the CSS H1 color changes, but the RSI is no longer pinned?).
