If I measure off the pins I get a minimum of about zero pips... if I measure off the candles I get 350, maybe even 450. Perhaps that confirms it as a zero risk trade? (good)

... I never seem to find anything particularly concrete down to the hour. Maybe I'm just not looking enough.

edit:
Regards JPY. They keep printing it and EDSEL shows a downtrend too.
However... commercial hedgers are having to put positions into it like never before:

These guys have all the resources and brains. They're not always right but they often are. They seem to think that any day now we'll have announcement that the printing press will power down.

...which is why I would prefer to trade against the trend?

zentauro67: I like your news little Empty4 indicator. Which one is it?

Price action has broken the 60MA so I wouldnt expect price to go higher than the previous highs for now. So I would expect 50-100 pips on the move.

The hardest thing to learn in trading if fundamentals. You can know a fundamental is happening and you can know where price will end up going BUT at what point does it change that has been the hard part for me to understand. It takes awhile for a fundamental to kick in at times but usually before it does the price chasers have their last hurrah. Will be looking for the turn around which may happen next year but it will happen.

I had a good week but used it all to close out my losing trades. I want to clear my account so I can close up for the year this week. 3 times this week I went with the eur/usd sells when they crossed the 240 line and each time I had to eat them. Grrrrrrrrrr. Some body wants to keep the euro strong.
