V 1g is in post 1. It is an attempt to automate Gertje's groups-of-pairs trading. I have added a group of inputs underneath those belonging to the four time frames, entitled, "Gertje automation feature". The details are in the updated user guide, but you do not need it if you understood Gertje's post just a few up from here and have used PoS for a while.

I am not certain that the code is entirely correct, so perhaps you expert bloop spotters might care to take a look. The relevant function is void CalculateGertjeInputs(int tfIndex) at line 3133. It is called at line 3240.

Gertje, could you put together a setfile for post 1, please?

You nailed it Steve, all I had to change was the place I take the lotsizes from; balance instead of equity to not screw up the recoverypart. :yahoo:

I loaded this one on my demo, if anything pops up then I will report back.

Hi Steve,

I tried to manipulate one pair to add recovery trades, the new EA won't send any.
I tried several inputs, like UseGertje yes/ no, changed lotsizes etc.
When I changed back to the previous version, it added the trades immediately again.

LUC came around for a coffee and this resulted in some insane lot sizes when I loaded her up and she fired her first trades. Fixed in post 1. I did not turn off the auto lot calculation features in the four time frames - Trade1LotsPerDollopOfCash etc.

Do a search for "//Lot sizing. Hard lot size" and copy this over the top of the code block:

I downloaded the last version, and tried to make it add pendings by removing existing ones.
1g didn't add any, 1e did right away after I replaced it on the chart.
The expert tab shows no messages other than whats to be expected.

I have no idea what your problem is. The latest version send several pending orders immediately after I loaded it and it had finished its initial calculations. Two of these have filled and a third is close.

All the new code does is re-calculate the variables you can see in void CalculateGertjeInputs(string symbol, int tfIndex). It does nothing to interfere with the order sending stuff.

Delete your current .mq4 and .ex4 files and re-download from post 1 to ensure you are using the latest code with the fix I mentioned at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 12#p157912. There is nothing I can do, sadly, if that does not work. The bot is working fine on my demo.

Couldn't get it to work.
Started a brand new demo, and tadaaa :!!:
Works okay now, have to look after a few strange level of pendings, probably the history is missing.
