To further improve entries, can we still require the stoch lines to move into either 80/20 first and then once the signal line crosses back over 75/25, only then take the trade?

Hi, since I installed the version of Gday EA in post 1 about two weeks ago, the EA has not sent any more trades.

I have re-installed the Empty4 and re-loaded the EA, checked every details including enabling expert trading, smiley face etc, still no trades. I have even tried installing on two other platforms, and tried lower time frames, still no trades taken, even though I can see valid trades on the charts, especially on the lower TF (making sure the TF settings for stochs are adjusted accordingly).

Unfortunately, I do not have the older versions of the EA that worked.

I would be very grateful if someone can upload a version that is still trading recently. Maybe that will solve the problem.

I loaded up a new demo on 22nd Feb using 75/25 stoch settings.

Since then the Ea has taken 10 trades...

9/10 of these trades have gotten to at least +50 pips (so breakeven), 1 trade closed for a loss. Total pips +926
5 of these trades are still going (all in profit and all at breakeven +), currently + another 645 pips

I also want to thank you for the summary of the James16 pages.

I was wondering, are you still using the version you posted a few posts ago?
(but with stoch OB/OS settings changed to 75/25)
So with TP 500, SL 250, fully automatic, break even false and jumping stop set to 50 ?
Or are you using different settings and also use MPTM to (partially) close orders and move SL to BE?


Well, I load it again on demo, because I got a little bit more time now and report back later.

Well, I load it again on demo, because I got a little bit more time now and report back later.

Yes I am still using the version I posted, with exactly the settings you list + full auto + strict version. (No mptm)
I have placed this on my main live account this week (minus any of the jpy pairs) with 1 trade taken and closed for +54 pips.
Most of the losses on my demo account were jpy pairs.

Would it be possible to design an indicator that shows for all available currency pairs Rsi and volatility - D1 or preferably MTF - on one chart. Sometimes I have the impression NB's volatility-categories do not really fit and I do not know how to value XAUUSD volatility
In the attached file (showing what I would like to express in words) I suggest something like a volatility-Index, which would allow to exclude high volatility-pairs, but I do not know whether something like that exists already.

After some tweaking and testing on demo since Dec, on 5th March I placed Gday onto my main live account, trading 0.03 lots on all pairs except anything with jpy.

3 trades taken so far for a total of 531 pips:

EURAUD (Buy) - Breakeven reached, 0.01 lots closed at +50.9, trade retraced to breakeven+12 Total = +75 pips

GBPUSD (Buy) - Breakeven reached, 0.01 lots closed at 53.6, 0.01 lots closed at +114, with last 0.01 lots still in play and currently sitting at +127 (with 64 pips locked in) - Total banked so far is 231 pips

GBPCAD (Buy) - Breakeven reached, 0.01 lots closed at 49.3, 0.01 lots closed at +112, with last 0.01 lots still in play and currently sitting at +113 (with 64 pips locked in) - Total banked so far is 225 pips

Do you use the default settings or what did you change? Do you trade all available pairs beside the yen or did you select some special ones?
