I have been trading 10.4 for 6-7 weeks with reasonable success. Live account up about 15% for May. I am very appreciative of Bob sharing 10.4 and his expertise with all of us and it has turned trading into a profitable venture for me. I have read the manual and the update which is great. I am however, having a hard time understanding how some of the thread's posters are getting so many trades. I understand how the multiple entries produce the pips. I'm just not entering all of the trades that I see posted . Many people are posting results and some are posting charts which are helpful in understanding entry points to a certain degree. It appears that many have modified the basic 10.4 rules and are trading the system quite a bit more aggressively than Bob has in the past. I wonder if some you that are having these 1000+ pip days and weeks would be willing to post some of your PENDING trades occasionally so those of us that are not quite up to your level could better understand your thought process in setting them up. The entry point is the main thing I think I'm having trouble understanding. Many thanks to all of you who are quick to answer questions and help your fellow traders.

WHY? You have not explained the indie. What does it do?

sorry!! thought it was self explanatory.
the indi combines all the various currencies, it is similar to the one you use. it can be set to show only the currencies on the chart, which is what i did from the screenshot. when there is a cross, it is a good indication for a trend change. the sell on the EG is risky in my opinion, since it is still above the 240ema on H4.

just a sample template for a mental framework.

might be useful
if you feel abit lost at the start of the week not knowing where to look.
or how the market feels(too much hangover saturday sunday etc).

it's like putting some cones on a field and dribbling a ball around them to get your feel back.
or just practicing strokes and warming the mind up.

i know i can come into a new week totally lost because i leave my work at the door.
plus although i study charts during weekend.it just isnt the same when it starts to move
"ITS MOVING! AHHH!"

anyways...this is what i struggle with. so this is what i grab onto. lol.

from this frame work.

you can approach the rest of the pairs one by one.

actually it's pretty woken up.
continual plays of yen strength in usual suspects at the bottom of D1 css.

n burst of eur strength consistent with the D1 upslope.

D1CSS 2 weeks ago had a major shakeup and took itself out of the equation. but now things are running smoothly again.

as Bob said a car needs to slow down before it can reverse.

we are now seeing USD weakness coming back in.
fundy headline tagged to it first Bernanke's reassurances and then followed second by poor US data.
US NFP data which is a key data the FED looks at. if it continues to disappoint. most bets are a poor number. means USD should keep weakening. unless it surprises and shifts the average of NFP data forcing the FED to taper then what we could have just seen these 3-4weeks was just a temporary pause in USD strength.

other themes include NZD and CHF central bankers jaw boning that they find their currencies overvalued.

stuff like that.

haha ya, most of the pairs easily moved 30 to 50 pips by now. but didnt enter anything cos i have no idea where they are going as yet, probably going to sit today out until i have a clearer understanding of where they are headed.

Probably need to spend more time with the CSS i'm pretty sure i aint using it to its fullest capacity
All times are UTC Page 35 of 68
