I was playing around using this with a simulator. one of the really amazing things it does is how well it keeps you out of ranging markets (the squiggly lines). Awesome job everyone!

Hi Guys
Just wanted to add my appreciation for the hard work and dedication that is represented in this indicator.
I have read through the PDF manual for a second time and I find myself in disbelief that what Bob is saying is even possible, let alone actually true with this indicator, truly remarkable.

I am trading this on a $1000.00 live acct. using 0.01 lots on 4hr TF. Since last week and 2trades both winners and one still open. Looking forward to the following weeks.

Good luck everyone, Chris.

Well I want to report that in the last 6 months I am up on the gbp/chf for the first time in my trading history. HA ............

All Trades
Trades Total: 44
Trades Won: 31
Trades Lost: 13
Trades Even: 0

Total pips won: 63.9
Profit: $16.97
Now let that be a lesson to you. GBP/CHF
Congrats Bob, Excellent results.

Just to confirm : All your trades are done with H4 charts. Correct ?
About the lost trades in General, it would be interesting to have some statistics about their signal Type
Do you think that the majority come from Wavy signals or Thick Arrows ?

Hello all,

I have installed the indies and read PDF-s. Only by visual check i can say, this is the top indicator based system i have ever seen in my 7 years of trading.

Thanks a whole lot!

I trade 4H charts but it doesnt mean I dont check others during the week. For example I just looked at the daily and weekly charts of eur/aud just to see where price might go this week. Also know I am shutting down for the year and hope to be out of the market by the end of the week. I have learned to just enjoy my family and Christmas and just set trading aside. So this probably will be my last week with trades and reopen in January. I probably will watch the indi during the holidays just to see howit works when there is low volume but can be high volatility.

Quote.-
In an earlier post I explained that a 15M trader really wants the 1H or/and 4H trend directions so keeping the 60/240 MA will give you those trend directions. For example the 240 on the 15M chart is the 60MA on the 1H and the 60MA on the 15M chart is the 15MA on the 1H. Put the 15/60 on the 1H and then you can see what you would be trading on the 15M chart.

At the risk of been scold by Steve and/or you, I'm still a bit confuse with the MA 240/60. You said that a M15 trader should look at the H1 MA 15/60 for trend direction....... so, an H1 trader should look for trend direction at the H1 MA 15/60 as well or the H4 MA 240/60. I normally trade H4 with 240/60 but want to test the H1, so not sure.

On the other hand on the input tab of HGI, the MA 240 filter is set to false as ootb. We should leave it that way or must be set to true? I personally have it set to false cause I want to be guided by the wavy lines.

I wish you a great trip and enjoying personally meeting traders around the world. For us, it's amazing to meet a great trader/teacher in person and not behind the screens. I hope I will have the opportunity and honor to meet you someday.

Again, thank you very much for all the sharing of your knowledge as we go in this journey. I still have a hard time to define myself as passionate or stubborness forex guy.

Don't make it complicated, just use it, then if it doesn't work you can make changes.

Bob, you have told us the logic behind the wavy lines and I personally am grateful for that. I am curious now about the arrows. What is the logic behind them? I understand trend/countertrend and continuation signals. But how do you define these things? I have overlaid your previous templates, and none of them match the placement of the arrows, so you must be doing something slightly different. Just curious.

I am a typical guy that prefers to make his own mistakes, but for this thread i make an exeption.
Deeply impressed.
There was talking of Renko.
Doing a bit of programming i made an indi that shows Renkobars and i would like to contribute this to this community. But... i understand that spy's are looking to steel coding. I considered selling it my self, for what it is worth. So i start with publishing the .ex. (Have to find out how to do that).
May be some of you can advice me what to do with the sources?
And indeed, could not find the way to add a program.
Pls help me out.

Regards to all, Pieter Cornelissen

Must say, I am having a lot of fun with your stacking strategy on the AUDUSD and NZDUSD since last Friday.

Many thanks

Hi Bob,

If you ever get a chance in the future , I would be really grateful if you could post a screenshot of your trades for a typical day .

As it would be good to see the setups you take.

Have a great vacation :yahoo:
