Guys, just so you stop talking up a blind alley, you cannot have basket management features in a single trading EA. Imagine the chaos when 28 ea's all try to close all the trades at once. For basket management, you need MPTM or Paul's MPBM.

You can have a feature that stops a single trader from trading again today when the account shows x profit; that is what I am going to add next.

Catch the ebbs and flows 1% at a time..

28 Global Ea's, Minor problem. :lol: :lol:

In preparation for a MPBM Global
we, the gang, should run Paul's "exposure indicator" with all the same pairs on different TF's & trade type i.e. Rad, to get a feel for high & low potentials.

Just a thought.
Run all pairs except CHFs thats 21pair= 1 test, 4 types=16 tests, 4 time frames 15,30,60 & 240 =4 tests, totals=64 test not including the different start times that are possible, :arrrg: unless of course someone has already done it. I've been running it sometimes but not all the time. Paul already has a time for each high & low, as I type, the 21pair went from -58 pip " GMT 14:32" to +184 "GMT 14:56. it just went to +218 at GMT 15:00, OK +387 at GMT 15:10.

See shots with 21pr, H4, trend -TP 70 SL-0, Rad - TP 70, SL-0 & range TP 12 & SL 0 .

Gertje's correct about the wavy, it looks like the most profit but also big draw down? Maybe a lower TF would do it.
I'll run lower TFs with just wavy and exposure.

V 1u is in post 1. From the updated user guide:
  • Daily profit targets: a pattern emerged in our early days trading HGB, of making
    hundreds – sometimes thousands – of pips. HGB would continue trading and get
    caught by a retrace and give all those pips back. The daily profit targets feature is
    intended to avoid this. HGB will stop sending fresh trades until the start of the new
    trading day once the trades in your History tab have reached your profit targets. He
    will continue to monitor and manage open trades:
    • ◦ PercentOfBalanceTarget: suppose you want to stop trading when you have
      made 5% of the day's opening balance. 5 would be your input. Your start
      balance was $1000, so HGB will knock off for the day when there are $50 profit
      showing in your History tab.
      ◦ CashProfitTarget: HGB will stop for the day once the profit in your History tab
      reaches this cash value. Suppose you are happy with $50, then that would be
      your input.
      ◦ Points to note:
      • ▪ set the inputs to 0 to cancel this feature.
        ▪ You can use both PercentOfBalanceTarget and CashProfitTarget.
        ▪ The trading week begins with Tokyo opening at 10.00 pm :London time (GMT
        + 1), so each new trading day starts at this time. Trading days are not
        concerned with clock times, only the times that each market opens and
        closes. Do not confuse this with it being day or night where you live. A proper
        brokerage such as Global Prime opens its D1 candle at the start of the
        trading day. Some of the results of using the stop trading feature will look a
        little strange if yours differs from this by more than an hour or two; there is
        nothing I can do about it.

Steve, I just got done re-reading the entire manual for the second time with the various upgrades you've made. I don't know how you could make it easier for us! :clap: :clap: :clap:

Those of you who haven't read it recently, you should read it again! Those of you who haven't read it yet, you should change to a different forum!

For those of you like me that are impatient traders, take a look at what you could have done on the EURUSD Daily chart if you traded on all of the rad and trend red arrows since the end of April, closing only when you see the wavy lines. I may have to switch to the Daily charts and plan for that retirement after all! :party: :party:

A thought for you guys who make small changes in code to the version you are running.

Endless loops cause problems with all Empty4 versions from about jerrybuild 6 onwards if we forget to turn off Expert Advisors before doing anything, so I have coded HGB to sleep for 5 minutes after it discovers it can knock off for the day (line 4986 Sleep(300000);//5 minutes).

Thing is I have also coded a 5 minute gap between each calling of the function that tests whether it should be asleep, so I suppose it is possible that the Sleep might not overlap the calling gap. You might like to go to line 4979 and change
if (TimeCurrent() >= CalculateTime + 300)

to

if (TimeCurrent() >= CalculateTime + 290)

I don't think this is worth an update - just something to do if you know how.

This beast need some one to watch him carefully

No specific settings, just OOTB on H4 chart


I will put MPTM with %10 TP basket closure, let see how this will recycle
