Hi. I know it has basket functions but I don't think MTPM Plus is calculating equity. I think the discussions here has clarified it hasn't. I hope to be corrected if I am wrong.

Is calculating against acct balance, guess its easy to change to equity. But why do u want to close when profits/loss against equity? Equity=Balance add floating profit/loss. Thus when its floating loss is negated against balance, eg, equity=$1000 + (-$15) assuming floating loss=$15
But u can try change it to account equity if thats what suits you.

Hi Qvintus,

Please feel free to discuss any strategy/settings in this thread.

Just note that PP Dashboard EA is coded to trade the standard strategy with Monthly/Weekly and Daily timeframe.

In order to trade other timeframes I will have to adapt PP Dashboard. I will monitor how Zennor’s EA is performing and depending on results I might consider creating a Dashboard to mimic it.

Concerning PP Dashboard test account, I have been busy last week to clean computers and other stuff and I didn’t have a chance to launch the Platform so it was quiet. I will launch a new test soon with less instances to monitor only best settings.

I am also finishing to code another project (to facilitate manual trading). It is almost done and I should share it in the next days.

Okay. But doesn't the higher, medium and trading timeframe input work in the pp dashboard indicator?
My so called H4 test did work really good.

I also tried trading timeframe M15 with higher and medium TF set to D1 and H1. It did great on friday from London open. Lots of trades. Over 100 pips profit with only a takeprofit of 5.

So you mean that my tests has been done on D1 no matter what input settings I changed??!

I will write about the "M15" test later today.

It should be ok, but as I have developed this dashboard based on PP standard strategy, it is something I have to double check to make sure it is working fine with lower TF.

Continue your testing, it should be ok and if pips are there :good:

I have a few things to finish and I will launch some test as well.

Here is my test of this Dashbord on M15 timeframe.

I have taken some ideas from the FF thread "As Simple As Possible 00-level trading" and added up with Pipcruisers idea of trading and of coarse gringoh:s wonderful Dashboard.

I will try to write the changed settings below. For all settings please see my attached template of the Dashbord and the MTPM Plus setfile because I have done more changes in the settings than the one I write below. I want feedback on my settings.

Only trade in direction of daily open
Filter candle size (over 2 times the 480ATR)
Filter max candle open 14 minutes (I want the signal to go away before new M15 candle), I hope this is the right setting for making what I want:

CSS activated, this settings for now (M1!!!). On CSS I am NOT very experienced so I need much input.

I am trading 24 hours a day with this set for collecting data. But this week shows that from Frankfurt open and some hours on London open will be best.

It would be nice if more people would like to test the possibilitys of this scalper.
Many parameters should be tested like...

- Timeframes (Trading/Medium/Higher) - Maybe M15/M30/H1 or M15/H1/H4 or M5/M30/H1 and many more combinations.

- CSS - Try all settings and of coarse different timeframes (my test was on M1!!!) maybe M5 or M15 is good and what about live or closed setting, and maxBar setting?

- Other sessions, suitable pairs

- Variants of TP/SL/BE and trailing settings.

- To trade in the direction of the longer trend maybe my choice of daily open is not best? There is MA:s that could work also

Finally the results on a few hours trading 09:00-14:00 (GlobalPrime time) from Frankfurt open and some hours in London session on Friday.

The 00-level is about getting 2x5 pips per day, and 10 pips is 2%, I hope this version could do that also (and more).

I know just one session meaning nothing but I have some hopes for this.

Which mean we will use previous Friday candle?

Concerning news filter, I have never coded this kind of thing, it is something I’ll try to check later (could be useful to trade lower TF).

Yes it would mean looking at previous Friday candles. But for sure lower timeframes should not be traded until we are at Frankfurt open on Mondays. Looking forward to the special edition :-)

Nice start for the H4 strategy this week also. It closed a basket at +2% and +252 pips after less than 3 hours.
(The default D1 strategy (5001) has closed one trade today, stoploss on GJ for -100 pips)
