Last night CP closed all trades on EURUSD [at a loss], and couldn't open any new orders since.
I tried to re-attach the EA to the chart, open a new chart for EURUSD and attach the EA, and some more, to no avail.

Does anyone have a clue what these messages in the attached picture mean?
They keep pouring in, meaning that CP is still trying to launch new orders.

Luckily this is a demo account, could a price "glitch" be the cause?

EDIT: closing and re-starting the terminal did the trick, but I'm still curious why the trades were closed. I can't find anything in the log.

No, absolutely not!
The fully auto demo is continually making progress.
Still waiting for the cent-account to unwind and transfer the funds.
It's 6 weeks already....
In the meantime, I'm trying some different things.

Could be, but why just one out of four pairs using the exact same EA?

Great, I have not given up on it either,
I tested it for a while but I didn't like the DD so I put my thinking cap on and did some changes to it.
I will put it back online very soon.

PS. How annoying.....I just saw all my open POS trades close suddenly.
I had forgotten about global closure.
I will have to fix this as well so that each POS only closes its own trades,

A losing week this week: -127 pips.

This leaves the account at +284 pips but -$8 overall. I have left the bot to do its thingy unattended.

I have finally abandoned this EA after a sustained period when various members of the Slope family have surged forward and this bot has gone backwards.

I have locked this thread for the time being. This is an attempt to head off noobs from wasting time.

I could be wrong. Any SHF member wanting to continue the discussion only has to PM me and I will reopen the thread with pleasure. Just bear in mind that I will take a lot of persuading before resuming the bot's development.

Thanks to all of you who tested the EA. We cannot know if bots are successful unless we test them out.

I have just received a pm suggesting in a roundabout and in and out whirly squirly thingy that closing this thread is premature.

I was going to yell out too but just didn't muster the courage to do so in time. I consider this EA to be one of the best on the block and I would hate to see the thread closed so soon.

hey all

just wanted to chime in with my experiences of this bot. it seems it requires a little patience but it does reward that. had this on m5 eu + gpy since mid-december, rapple settings from p30, and it has chugged away in the background racking up the pips - about 12,000 so far. like rapple said, it will have a consistent open dd of about $250, but it seems to me that the balance just keeps rising:
