Yup, looks like you're right, George. useATRStopLoss is on by default, and it overrides the normal Entry - Stoploss definition of "risk." I missed that.

Might be more reasonable, though. Entry-Stoploss can be very small and give outsized position sizes.
There is still an issue with the EA calculating lots based on one stop loss, but using another when actually sending the trade. I didn't see why that would be the case, perhaps Paul will be able to set us straight.

George

Yeah, I've notice that. the stop is calculated as many as 3 times before a trade is opened

1) in calculatelotsize
2) in lookfortradingopportunities
3) in sendsingletrade

it is also calculated again in processOpenTrades.

It all needs to be rationalised a bit.

Hover your mouse pointer over the open trade or closed trade to see, if any, trade comments. MultiBob will automatically comment the trade Pivot Short or Pivot Long when using 10.2a and H4 Trend or D1 Trend when using 10.2.

I run both 10.2a and 10.2 on one demo account using a chart window for each EA instance.
That works or you could just right click the header of any column and choose comments - then they are displayed all the time.

Dear All,

I have been running Multibob on an Alpari £5K Demo from Mon 24th of Sep to date (updating Multibob when a new version was released). That makes it ten days of trading. Today I extracted the closed trades taken using 10.2 and 10.2a, allowing 5% risk together with the hedging function from MPTM. I can understand that ten days is not enough long time to get a sensible analysis of the results, but as one can see from the attached file, 10.2a is the one that stands out.

As per the attached pivot one can see that 10.2a closed up £1995.23 while 10.2 closed down £944.82, even though a lot of trades were hedged for 10.2 trades. On the 10.2a system only two trades had the hedged functionality trigerred and with the hedging trades in the mix the 10.2a would be in profit but by £1,707.26, slightly down from £1995.23. Analysing the different trades taken by 10.2, it looks like BBRange did quite well, +£206.21, the only downside is I only had three only trades trigerred by BBRange so it's not a good sample after all.

I will be leaving this demo running for another while to conclude that the results above are quite conclusive. Basically saying that 10.2a proved to be is the best entry trigger on this setting and perhaps using 10.2 for BBRange if feasable. Other things to include is maybe doubling the entry lots and close half at TP1 an leave the second one running using Trailing/ Jumping Stop Loss. Bottom line, I think this system has got potential.

I do not know how you guys/ gals are with excel skills but all I did is saved a detailed report out of the Demo account and added a column for the type of trade as per the account history comment when hovering on the trade line, added a couple of columns with formulae to add other information to the trade and from there I filtered and pivoted the results to get some basic analysis.

Hi

Need some help please to get this straighten up.

OOTB settings are "maxspread=120.000000000"

EUR/USD
Bid: 1.30190
Ask: 1.30260

Difference is 0.0007

So if I want to have less than 5pips spread, I set "maxspread=50.000000"?

Thanks :)

I have been running MB2a for the same period as Serpip and it has increased my Demo acct by 9% during that period, I have had 27 winning trades and 9 losing trades. The only conclusion I can draw is that this bot and system has amazing possibilities. Almost no other inference can be made since I have immediately posted each update as it came out, changed my set file numerous times and closed the majority of trades winners and losers prior to TP or SL. Regardless I am greatly excited by this robot. Great job Bob, Paul & Steve.

Trading with 2% risk on a demo, copying 0.25 of demo lotsize to life trading by "MT4i - Trade Copy". Regular updates, ootb (with NB 10.2 on, NB 10.2a off), start 12-09-27. No manual interference! Actually 112% of initial demo-account. My first EA experience I feel comfortable with.

Hi Serpip,
May I please know what are the details of your MPTM Hedge configuration? Thank you.

Paul, I started v1.1.10 when the market opened. I'm getting the "not enough money" error again, with AUDUSD this time. Looks like the prices never got set. Started at 19:18 local time = 01:18 GMT.

EDIT: AUDUSD errors stopped at 01:36GMT, now I'm getting EURAUD errors.
EDIT: EURAUD lasted until 01:54GMT, then 3 EURNZD errors at 02:00, then EURAUD started up again at 02:17.

I'll quit updating this -- bottom line, it's happening with several pairs.

Is it true that the EA wont close trades if slope >0.5? Because EURAUD got closed with 100 pip TP even though slope both D1 and H4 slopes were grater than 0.5.
