Hi Steve,

The H1 pending order-script fullfills my wish, didn't notice before today.

During use I noticed that for short- pendings, the script places a pending on the 2nd line instead of the first available. Longs work alright.

Also the MA-SL doesn't work with me, would you be willing to take a look into it?

Nope. The problems are well documented here as people are quick to whinge when something is not immediately accurate.

This script is intended for use in conjunction with 10.4 ITM, which you can then use to pull the lines into alignment with what you actually want. This is what I did when trading 10.4.

Hello,
the work around for this imo,
1. Check to see if RSI was pinned in the last couple bars, say the last 2 H4 bars, or
2. Check to see if RSI in not pinned in the opposite direction.

i have used the second option in one of my codes and it worked ok. Really exited on this Css h1 thing. i see it being used / preffered by many across the forum. Thanks to Bob who brought this baby to life here at the forum and to Jem for nursing it. Really good entry point with the Css H1.

I understand.

It's just not possible to drag lines on an iPAD.... :D

Will continue doing manual entry's.

Steve, I loaded up the CSS H1 Colour Change script tonight and I'm very impressed.
4 trades taken so far....3 correctly (as far as I can tell).

AUDNZD is showing as in a down trend (according to the script), however a buy trade was opened.
Please see screenshot attached.

I hope I have not misread and wasted your time ;)

I am completely baffled by this, so can any passing coders take a look please?

ReadIndicatorValues() sets the externs TradeLong/Short according to the position of the Bid relative to the moving average (MaTrend is only used in the feedback display).

LookForTradingOpportunities() only attempts to send a long trade if TradeLong is true - or sell if TradeShort is true. If either condition is true, the code then examines CSS and cancels the trade if the bar colours are wrong.

This is the simplest trading decision code I have written for a looooonnnnnnggggg time. It cannot be wrong.

But it clearly is. HELP.

I have posted about this previously - not sure if it is a problem but it quits after a bit and the script works for entries - I usually close the trades myself so am not sure about the closures...

I am sorry, but I don't understand your question.

If you select CSS_timeframe = 1, then the CSS Manager will close buy trades/pendings as soon as the H1 CSS turns red, and it will close sell trades/pedings as soon as the the H1 CSS turns green.

If you select CSS_timeframe = 4, then the same will happen based on the H4 CSS.

If you think that the CSS Manager closes trades/pendings too fast, you can increase the differenceThreshold, which is the difference between the two CSS lines.

I tried EA these week but i notice that EA close trades when CSS color changed to gold not opposite color.
Ex.If i open sell trade and 4HCSS color is Gold , EA will close the trade

Actually what counts is not the color but the difference of the two CSS lines. If the threshold is set to 4 and if the difference is 4 or higher (positive for long), then the sell trade will be closed - even though this might only be the case for one tick and go back below 4 during the next tick. Also, in such a case you will not be able to open a sell trade or sell pending, because the EA will close it immediatly.
