My gbp/jpy also closed suddenly and it was at 174.954. this was below the Min distance to MA line at 175.221. |

It is any EA that runs a permanent loop. mptm does this, so forgetting to turn off autotrading causes a long delay before the unload happens.  |

Thanks Steve. I've checked and it is only MPTM that hangs (slows) Empty4 while unloading. Other EA's end immediately. The GJ disaster yesterday has convinced me that you H1 guys are correct. The H1 demo sailed serenely through it all and closed at its profit target this morning. The remnants of my live basket also closed so I am already starting to recover from the loss. This still leaves me ahead just shy of 700 pips, or 175 a week on average. Newbs, you might be wise to follow my lead and take FB off GJ for the time being. Pairs tend to bounce around in a period of consolidation after a big move like yesterday, so trading the pair could prove costly as it bounces around the MA. Wait until the market starts to move again. Also, I just remembered it is NFP today, so I have shut down until after it is released. Word of caution re mptm folks. I closed the live basket manually because mptm waas telling me my profit target was reached, but not actually closing things down. I do not know if that is because of some rare combo of circumstances or because of a bug in the code. mptm has been used for so long and by so many people that I doubt the bug, but cannot state that definitively. I am working on an update to mptm that drags its code into the early 2000's but have not had time to test it properly yet. I am still using the original version. Just keep an eye on things if you are trading FB live and using mptm for basket management/global closure - I am using global closure. |

I use MPBM with a set CASH-profit, and it closed my basket during the week. Just found out Empty4 closed itself, and after restarting FB closed 2 pairs [in profit] immediately. Also the new script didn't change ALL my charts, some were left without EA. |

Hi there, I have this EA, very simple - only with a cash close profit. (if someone could insert also a % of balance it would be great). It should work fine. I dont know where from I got it, but all credit to the guy who shared it freely! Remember to allow live trading. BR PC |
