Hi Anima,

One day of trading indeed isn't enough to prove a system is profitable and so isn't one week. What I know is that HGB'nG has been profitable for the last weeks/months.

So we need to be patient, I believe this system will prove profitable over time. There will be bad days where the equity will be going down. So it is important to not overtrade. HGB'nG under the form we're running it now will only close groups of trades that are in profit, so you'll most of the times have some drawdown on the account. If you look at my balance/equity curve, you can see that at some moment my equity went down as my balance was going up. After some hours, my equity shot up like a rocket and is now beyond that level where my balance was before and it is still going up.

If HGB'nG will always behave like that, is something we shall see. It is too early as version 2h is pretty recent. I have high expectations on this one. But never risk money that you cannot afford to lose. So continue with that demo account until you feel confident enough to trade this system live. If those profits continue I'll soon withdraw some cash and open a live account with GP as Steve trusts them. And I strongly recommend you do the same as those guys look like very serious people.

Stop and think about this. Imagine you had posted as you did above before contacting me with your trading idea, in response to an earlier thread. You think you would still be a member here? Imagine what we would all have missed. Then shudder delicately and dismiss the whole idea as a bad dream.

I am going to start being blunt about this guys. Global Prime is the only honest brokerage firm that I know of. There may be others, but I do not know about them. Astonishing as it may seem given that I am merely the owner of what some people regard as the best forex trading forum around, people send me the occasional titbit of information. Nobody has told me about other honest brokers, so my default position is that they do not exist. Possibly a tad extreme, but I do not care. Those of us who have been around this stuff for more than 5 minutes have fallen into the trap of the market makers. I have been around it for considerably longer than 5 minutes, so I leave you to draw your own conclusions.

Only a cretin who can open an account with GP fails to do so.
