Pulled my yen pairs off to absorb the profit from nice gaps and waiting to re-buy at Fridays close or there abouts. E/U longs and G/CHF shorts are hanging in there. Pulled A/U profits at the OS area denoted by 10-4.


Sunday bargains: Kiwi was a great buy at open although it was below the 240 slightly. Common sense told me it was a bargain because I could hang my stop at below last weeks low with a paltry 15 pip stop, ( You can still get in with a 30 pip stop )...LOL If the stop hits.....it hits.... still a great bargain. Another bargain is G/U which is sitting just above the 240, you can get away with a 25 pip stop here....Again, this is my interpretation of Bobs 10-4 using my prior knowledge of 7 years in this market. I recommend you follow his rules.

I know how you feel. It can take me a small ice age to work out what the EA I coded is supposed to do when somebody asks for it to be updated.

CSS today EUR CHF are on top AUD JPY on bottom. Some nice gaps and several jpy pairs are at their highs. My general feeling is they will eventually break those highs but dont know when. USD/JPY, chf/jpy and eur/jpy I expect to be soon. Since Euro bad news can happen at any time I would play tighter SL with those pairs but euro happy news will send it soaring. Any way that is where I will be looking.

I closed out Friday and took a break from trading. I spent some time working on replacing the AO but stuck on the idea I had. Maybe it wont work as great as i thought. Anyway I will take a look later. USD/CHF looks like a nice trade to me. I placed my sells at the break of the daily pivot and the break of the weekly pivot.

Been trying to think of a way to curb the resourses on my laptop. My PC is fine, but my laptop is underpowered and is slowed considerably during push times. However, If I restart my laptop, it comes back to life for a bit. Do you think adding Ram would help? If not I will have to purchase a better top.

Spillini:

Windows boxes get slower and slower (by design I suspect). Options:

1. Do a fresh install (ie format your drive) of your OS preferably using XP which is is less resource hungry than WIN7.
2. More RAM is always good, but if it is a 32bit laptop, OS can only address up to 3GB.
3. New Laptop.

In these cases, I always do 1, then see where I'm at.
