Hi, Tommaso
I have been told by Global (here in the Forum) that your indicator are better than any other management EAs.
He also said that you one of the best programmers he has known. That is very good for you.
So that is why I would like to ask you as follows. Can your EA be enhanced a little? I have somethong to discuss.
The enhacement will not be very difficult to understand and programm.
Give me a clue if you are interested in?
Best

APTM has a simil thingy already disponible, if you setDr.Phoenix » Fri Oct 16, 2015 8:05 am wrote:

APMT consists of JS technology. But JS is working from the entry point and on the way forward.
The idea is to make JS that could begin its working from the initial point of SL's placing.
Let us assume Initial JS (IJS) step be, say, 5 pips.
Let us assume SL to be placed at -15 pips before the entry point.
Each time price goes in the right direction, IJS jumps to 5 pips from the entry point.
As soos as the IJS price is equal to the entry point price, IJS technology is switched off, and JS is switched on.
Example for IJS step = 5 pips.
1. Entry Price (EP) = 0. SL = -15.
2. Current price = +5; SL = -10;
3. Current price = +10; SL = -5;
4. Current price = +15; SL = 0; as soon as SL = EP, then SL is 0, but 0 is not acceptable (for the following JS to be switched on), so let us SL be SL=SL-1, in our case SL = -1, and IJS is switched off;
5. JS realised in APMT is switched on from now on.
Note. IJS can be different in the range from 1 to 14 ( = SL - 1 ) pips.

MoveSLOnlyIfWin to false, the SL will be moved from the initial point.I will try this. But I suppose that the step is the same as the JS step.milanese » Fri Oct 16, 2015 8:13 am wrote:APTM has a simil thingy already disponible, if you setDr.Phoenix » Fri Oct 16, 2015 8:05 am wrote:

For such addings is always the question if it would be asked by more users of the APTM, as every new function too, makes the APTM more complex and esp. for newcomers not easy to use. So I will only add functions that will be for many users a real benefit.Dr.Phoenix » Fri Oct 16, 2015 8:44 am wrote:

EDITED. The matter is that SL should be discretionally moved from the SL position. The IJS step is lower than the main JS step. Such a procedure should protect a loss from a much-bigger loss.

Partcloseoption that uses PC with BE will only do one partclose, same for the PC as first TP, read for this again the first post and the thread (--> posts after feb this year) it is explained there..Dr.Phoenix » Fri Oct 16, 2015 3:41 pm wrote:

The only thing I would like to say that such a technology is very helpful if the take profit is 15-25 pips.
Such targets can be taken intraday only. And if the position is wrong, the SL will be tightened to the entry point fastly, and the loss will be smaller than the standart 15 pips. Think of it.
One more thing I would like to ask. Please say if there is an option made in APTM as follows.
Is there The Part Close to be taken just ONCE?
Say, then price goes right, BE is set while the part close is enabled one time. As soon as BE is set, the following part close step is not taken, the part close is switched off.
