Hardly anything is moving today. Lots of spikes here and there, but nothing defined. Better luck next week. Enjoy the weekend, we'll be celebrating our king's birthday. |

Hi guys Hi guys a while ago, not sure if it was Spiderx or Zentauro gave stochs setting 60.1.1 as an xtra filter in addition to the 722 stochs and I have been using this and must say the more I look at it the more I like it. What is nice about this is that I can pick up divergences and have also realised that if 722 stochs pull back and the 60.1.1 stochs stay above 50 it is a sure trade as well as excellent visualisation for me to get back back into the trend. I have attached an audnzd chart to show in detail what I am talking about. Even though we are still above the 240ma I will take the counter trend trade should my722 stochs pull back and my 60.1.1 stochs remain below 50 Of course the the 10.9 weekly 211 stochs will be my first filter next week to see in which way the trend will head. Anyway thanks guys for this great system Regards. |

Good catch, Wavegarrick. I´m fighting also to understand 60.1.1 Some signals seem very promising. A good way to enhance the 60 LWMA is by adding a 34 EMA in the ribbon indicator provided in the first page of this thread. The space between the 60 LWMA and the 34 EMA will act as dynamic resistance. Price will find support or resistance there and will have to fight to cross. This dynamic resistance is more often signaled by a 34/56 EMA but the 60 LWMA works perfectly. This way of plotting the 60 in the middle of the 4H ATR channel is quite usuful to validate the crosses. I have removed the ATR 1 levels, using only 2 (3.5 mult.) and 3 (4.7) to detect possible reverse zones, and letting clean the middle of the band to give more importance there to the 60/34 ribbon. |

Hi Guys based on Zentauro's settings I will once again attach the 2ma crossover with price alert. Looking at this it may be useful in trading in the the direction of the weekly (Red) 211 stochastics if weekly stochs 211 go up and you get the crossover alert you will be notified in the direction of the trend, so you don't have to scan though all you charts all the time. Looks good must say. In essence you will get your 211 weekly (red) stochs alert and the 722 signal alert and you can use the 2ma crossover alert as xtra confirmation. Ps the 2 ma is not set to Zentauro/s settings so you must set it according to his last post. Also remember that an Ma crossover is lagging but heck if it gets you into the weekly trend than good. Regards |

Just looking at the crossover alert again it brings back bad memories so to go back please dont use the crossover alert it is good if there is a crossover alert and the 722 stochs pull back and the 211 stochs are aligning else this indicator has brought me more sorrow Sorry guys just realised my mistake now |

OK for those that know I like to follow fundamentals, especially the big news which are the real ones, here is one that could come to play this summer and will affect markets far and wide. Since in the past China has not been a major source of market moves I would not hazard a guess as to where the markets will go but I would assume JPY strength and AUD weakness. The NZD however, may not be affected as much because its products are more food and clothing related. Anyway this is what is coming down the pipe in China and China is preparing for what is about to happen. The things I see personally is in the last year China has made the police and other law enforcement more visible. In one sense this has been good because traffic patterns have greatly improved, street vendors have been closed down (I miss them), and illegal buildings and businesses have been closed down. This has allowed legal businesses to be profitable and of course pay more taxes. For example here in Nanning electric bikes have been licensed and they now have to obey traffic laws. Before they kind of went whenever they wanted and wherever they wanted. Anyway things have changed. This article was presented to me by a friend who deals in investments in China and this is what he wrote. I thought it was good. If you invest in China it is only safe if you just get the interest the banks pay and not with any of the higher interest junk trust products which are not guaranteed at all. It should be an interesting few months coming up to see how many defaults there are. China set to confront a wave of maturing trust products. In China, so-called wealth-management and trust products have become a vital source of credit in recent years. According to a Wall Street Journal article, outstanding trust assets under management amounted to 11.7tn yuan (~$1.9 trillion) at the end of March, more than quadruple the level from four years ago, as investors have piled into these vehicles because they offer better return potential than that afforded by savings accounts. An estimated $420 billion-worth of these products are due to mature this year with a peak period for maturities beginning in May. The article notes that since these trusts typically invest in more troubled sectors of the economy that are shunned by banks, such as coal and property developers, there are concerns that debt-laden companies may be unable to pay back investors. The WSJ thinks markets will be closely monitoring the situation for signs of stress and spillover into the banking system and the broader economy. |
