Could someone comfirm that TrendWave is working fine in version 2r.

- All other types of trades are disabled. (only trendwave left enabled)
- lookback set to Trendcandleslookback 1 ; Wave lookback 5
- Using TF 30 mins ( Tradingtimefrace = 30 )
- HGI 15.06

Today noticed USDJPY 8:30 GMT+2 - did not open wave+trend on same candle.
Could someone comment on this.
What am i doin` wrong? :)

I have a account since 2007 with Oanda, actually I don't really use them for a long time. They even called me and ask why I am not trading anymore. I was always trading just not with them. The reason is very simple every time the news, or big spike's are coming around and you make money, the LIVE-platform would crash, the spread gets 10fold and you can't close the trade because the platform freezes. Not so the Oanda demo-platform, that one works always nicely, also during the news/spikes and you make useless demo-money. Checked over the years time and time again and nothing has changed, they still do it. After talking to them, early on, many times about the problem I switched to the Empty4 platform since they claimed it would always work correctly, guess what? No difference, "crashes/freezes" conveniently too, just to work perfectly fine after the spikes. I still have a "couple" dollar in the account and that's how I left it off. My conclusion: don't trust any broker they can switch from good to bad and back at any time.

Have never had that problem with Oanda. It would be interesting to see your RAM & CPU usuage at those times.

Looks like it will do the trick, but may I ask if a relative non-techie can install this? It's unclear from the website if it installs just like any EA or not- no refunds so don't want to buy if I can't install it (emailed them about this, but no answer). Thanks for your help :good:

and they had a couple more on setup

Another consideration is if the demo feed is exactly the same as the live Oanda feed. If the demo is delayed or different in anyway your screwed. You should probably confirm with Oanda

But I have been following the thread, try demonstration run one version of the EA, never got a satisfactory result, make me get disheartened. Too many parameters make me confused, not know what course to take.

Ask simply one with confirmed positive results to post or to send you, his HGB setup file (.set)
