May be silly question...

After running RnR , any initialize action to RnR EA cause problem ?
ex.
* Change TF of EA attached chart
* EA parameter change(press F7)

if I want to do above action, Should I delete EA and re-attached again ?

testing reveals a bug in RnR v1o.(TJF Hedge version)

Hedgeonbluewavy = false, initiated a hedge position when blue wavy appeared. All other parameters under TJF Inputs were set to "true"

Currently I am testing previous version 1n with M1and M5 hedging and Gertje is testing M15 H1 and H4 hedging. Would be helpful to test the same settings on latest version with close on Sixths true since I haven't got to that yet. I will PM you some set files for this if you like.

Hi all

RnR (version 1o) both started at the same time on fresh $5000 GP demos. Both suffered major DD during NFP but have recovered nicely.

... this week I am testing 3 RnR (version 1n):

No hedge
M1 HGI for hedge
M5 HGI for hedge

Snapshot below shows M5 hedge currently in the lead.. the no hedge currently affected from the AUD interest rate news this morning and will catch up in due course no doubt when there is a pullback.

I'm loving the fact that the lower timeframe hedges really do seem to protect fully during news. Gertje how you getting on with M15 H1 and H4?

Doing well.

Attached the 3 tests and results.
Magic#0 = M15 TF hedge
Magic#1 = H1 TF hedge
Magic#2 = H4 TF hedge

The numbers don't add up completely, need to look into that.
For now the H1 seems the lesser performer.

Your comment "16-5 opening".

It means RnR run during Asian session only @GMT+0 ?
if no, please show me actual hour @ GMT+0.
Do you close all trades at 5 opening(End time) even if profit or loss ?

Here is mine again now:

.. the non hedged RnR back into positive ground but M5 Hedge still ahead. M1 has gone backwards as price consolidates with some losing hedges taken.

Not sure, need to look into that.
The retrace took care of a lot of DD....

Can you do me a favor and post the trade report with "open and closed trades" rather than just closed trades. Then we are both comparing the same thing which includes the open draw down.

You misunderstood me, I meant the 16-5 as in 16th May......

RnR runs 24/5, no manual interference.
