I rarely use daily since this is only day trade. Maybe my old habit because I usually trade on m15.
Yes MP still on upper that's why I only set the TP at MP cause I expect some bounce there which didn't happen T_T
This is just a short term trade so I only use H1 TMS slope which has been above 0.4 from the day before so I look for buy. And I enter when m15 do retracement :)
I wish no harm done....since 10.2 original rule use D1 and H4 retracement....i am just a noob trying to learn here LOL
don't worry
as long as you make money it is good :-)

Great, if you caught that trade! However, I don't understand the setup. It is totally against NB10.2(A) rules! TMASlope D1 was bearish and Pivots were not aligned (MP > DP > WP). What system do you trade?

He was using 10.2A which emphasizes pivots as the man entrance points. The TMA slope is suppose to be used to see if the move is strong enough to stay in a trade or to close it out. Dont put all your emphasis on it as an entrance. Once entered the TMA becomes more important in deciding to keep the trade or not ride the wave for a while. If you only watch the TMA then you will only be trading during trend times and ignoring when the market is ranging. He also ignored the monthly pivot line which if you have a fundamental reason to trade can be ignored. For example he knew that a news story was coming and if it went a certain way price would become bullish. This then would make a good trade. Daily pivot above weekly pivot and price is closing in on monthly pivot. If News story is USA positive take the trade at the break of the daily pivot.

Thank you Bob for clarifying! Very helpful! I knew from your previous posts that the TMAslope should not be used for entering, but I always strictly adhered to the pivot order (incl. the MP). I never dared to trade against the MP.

BTW, stopped out on EJ yesterday. Should have waited for the news

@NB thanks for the detailed analysis.
yes I still have hard time filtering ranging market, trending market is really great with TMAslope. Still practicing combining pivots and Slope to make a better win rate. I use h4 and h1 TMA slope aside from pivots, just to make sure I am not going against the trend. I don;t know why I prefer to only look at DP and WP only...especially if MP is far far away from the price. Personal preferences...don;t mind it :)

p.s I am a "she" btw
