Bob, Your system is very interesting, I'm very grateful for your insights and even more so for the fact that you share so willingly and openly. I've tried to simply read back over all the old systems, but I can't get a handle on entries and exits for 10.9. As 10.9 is a daily system, looking to maximize return from weekly full bodied candles, are the entries and exits the same as the old 10.6 entries/exits? xxx.00 lines? stops at the 10 or 40 ma lwma of the open on the daily? I also have not found a concise summary of the use of the demark trendlines & fractals with the sto7, can you please explain. I have had some success simply using the weekly open as a stop and trailing the stop according to the sto7, but it strikes me that I should be looking at holding daily trades for longer as I'm usually out of the trades by Thurs/Fri. I'm not really in a position to trade 10.7 on four hour charts, 10.9 is very attractive to me. Also is there any reason why you only mention explicity mention forex in your docs, I've had some success trading indices and commodities. |

I think i dont get it. I use DP for entries or 15MA. Then i wait until stoch7 crosses line 30 (if go long) or line 70 (if go short.) but usually my traders ends up with loss. or market moves only for few pips witch not even enought to cover spread. or market changes direction. I have read 10.6 and 10.7 fully twice, but i still think im missing something. |

10.9 is is strictly day charts and higher. You take 1 or 2 trades a month and you can sit on a trade for weeks or months at a time. You enter and sit on the trade. I liken it to setting the stove to 99 C and waiting for water to boil. You either have the patience to trade that way or not. It is the simplest of the systems but takes the most patience. Because of Easter and the Ukraine thing you might as well as gone on vacation for April. Below is the eur/usd chart. For the last 3 weeks it has stayed in a 100 pip range. Well that is a lot of fun. Except for some of the commodity currency drops the last two weeks there has been nothing much to trade. I may get a 3% increase of my account for the month. Hey that's the market right now. Part of trading is recognizing the fundamentals and that they just arent there right now. I mean you can analyze this thing to death but you arent going to be making money if the markets are just marching in place. Except for a couple of commodity currencies like eur/nzd and gbp/nzd everything has stayed within that 100-150 pip range. If you want to learn demark TL put demark TL in google and go read. Ton of material out there. Those are not fractals on your screen those are where the lines for TL in the past which I did explain in my first couple of pages in the thread. I showed how to use them to determine TL in the past. I dont agonize about my entrances. If I get a trade signal. I look at my CSS read and either enter or dont enter. If I enter I take what I think is my best entry point and I go with the trade. That can be a MA line, TL, or xxx.000 or xxx.050 line. Then I let the trade develop. The most important tool I use in trading is the CSS and it has the fewest views. Everything I do is based on my daily reads of the CSS. If I had a choice of one tool to trade with that would be it. If the GBP is higher than the JPY I dont try buying the JPY unless I want to counter trade. I only trade Forex and nothing else. It is a ranging market and if you do it right (lot size to account size) Your losses are minimal. I dont have to worry about a company going broke and price going to zero. (sorry gold crowd but gold is about ready to drop again) |

Unless you post your actual trades there is nothing I can do. I am amazed that the CSS page has the fewest views. Just to give some examples of last week which was a very slow week. Commodity currencies angling down all others angling up. A very simple analysis. So I traded commodity weakness. This is what happened last week and I stated it before it happened. aud/chf and eur/nzd |

Well the CAD weakness started slowing down and it maybe following USD strength. Now that winter is coming to an end the Canadian economy maybe picking up after a period of weakness. All I know is I am watching it strengthen some and if it starts crossing lines I will go with CAD strength. CAD strength actually started to happen in late March, is swooned some here in April but it didnt go down much so it maybe continuing on its long term trend of strengthening after a very week opening this year. USD economy picks up the Canadian economy will pick up with it. |

Bob, here is where I get really confuse.... if USD cross up the CHF, on D1 CSS, from my point of view just after the cross the USD will be stronger and the CHF will be weaker cause the USD is angling up and the CHF is angling up, right? So my conclusión in this case is that we will need more CHF's to buy a USD... so my conclusion will be to go long/buy this pair and not sell it as you mention. Can you please elaborate why you want to sell this pair instead of buying it? Thanks in advance. |
