I am interested in investigating this "problem".

First, we have to make sure that TDesk is indeed signalling the EXIT signal to Desky that is shown in the dashboard. If your reported situation occurs again, please do the following:

- Press F3 to open the window of global variables.
- Search for a variable named "TDTRADESIGNAL/XXXXXX/..." with "XXXXXX" being the symbol.
- Note down the value of this variable

The value from above should be "4" for an EXIT signal. If this is true, we have to go on from there.

By the way, are you sure Desky "owns" the trade that doesn't get closed? Does it have the right magic number and comment?

I have been having problems getting orders to process since I upgraded to TDESK 6.81 at the beginning of April. I'm having a similar issue to what was described above.

When I check the TDTRADESIGNAL, the value of the variable for the trades (AUD/NZD) I expect to exist is 3. You mention that is needs to be 4 to exit. The exit is based on the Solo Signal being -100 which it is, I have set the Trade and Signal Magic Numbers to -1.

I noticed the Trade Magic Number was previously set to 2 but I think 240 of the 250 trades were 2 anyway. (As a side-note, this explains why I wasn't getting any new orders as max number is reached, was wondering why it had stopped at 240 previously)

Here is a screenshot from my TDESK and I have attached all the relevant set files too.

I've been racking my brains all day trying to figure out what I did wrong during the upgrade process! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I figured out the problem - the comment associated with Desky had changed from 'Desky' to 'TDesk signals trade'. I never really looked at this value before as manual said not to change unless you knew what you were doing. Never mind! I am manually closing the orders with the older comments based on the signals.

Just out of interest, is there a way I can run a second instance of TDesk/Desky with the old comment but somehow get it to only close existing orders but not open new ones?

I want to close all open and pending orders when a particular indicator called ExP changes exclusively. In other words the ExP indicator has a veto on all other indicators in TDesk, would it be correct to set. ForceExitOnOppositeSignals to ExP/H1 if my indicator name is ExP on the H1 timeframe

Didn't get an answer to my previous post but pretty sure its correctly set up, however it hasn't worked. I think the condition has been met for my Exit veto signal in TDesk. capture.png I have this setting in Desky capture1.png But nothing was closed, any thoughts what might be wrong? Both setfile magic numbersettings are set to -1.

Hi c1borg, Sounds correct but you dont have any veto signals on tdesk. If the top of the screenshot in your previous post wasnt cut off I might have been able to see the problem.
