We dwelled on this before and decided against it. It seems that the difference of both slope strengths for the currencies in a symbol isn't that much different from the slope value of that symbol. This is because the slope strength of a currency is based on the slope value of a symbol.

I agree to disagree. (could have been said by Cruyff ;) )

I understand that, most of the time, the difference is subtile, but that is just the more reason to make it visible. I agree that not showing the SlopeValue's would also be miss, but when trading by difference, you need to know what the actual difference is. Maybe a future update could consist of the option to display either value or difference.

I'll have a look at code, but I'm still on a steep learning curve.

BTW, I have been trading stocks and programming EA's for about 10 years on the Omnitrader platform and using there own "OmniLanguage". I just moved to Forex a couple of months ago. A short while ago I was about to turn away of Forex due to the scam's and brokers issues. This Forum and a few others showed a glimpse of potential and drew my attention. Mql4 is much more sophisticated than I'm used to but the community is also much bigger. I appreciate everybody's positive attitude and help on this forum very much!

It shows different value for the same currency when I put it at different pair. Is it supposed to be like that?
Setting are default, i just add the max bars :500 to minimize the loading process.

You can use my Indicator NT CSS-TMA SP to check it for yourself. The Difference of two pairs and the TMA slope of the same pair can be shown there side by side...they actually are in sync most of the time with only a few points off behind the decimal point.

So it is of no value to show the Difference since it is almost the same as the TMA and the calculation overhead is no where in relation to the resulting redundant information.

Have you tried this comparison also with the maxBars off? Is it still different?

Have you checked the history data of both currencies if they are at the same level and accurate for the TF you are looking at?

@NT yes I tried with maxbars off. still different value. About the history data, I use alpari NZ and UK as my platform. Could they be the problem? I will download Interbank demo to see if the problem still persist. So the value shouldn't be different then. Thanks

Try to use one of the "force History Data Load" scripts (use search with the words) that are available in one of the threads to be sure that the history of your pairs are in order.

@NT I download Cowboy IBFX Empty4 and the problem is fixed, all value shows correctly :) it seems the problem is with alpari history data. Thanks a lot to address my question.

Maybe I have missed something at the very beginning, but would u mind telling me why the 21 days MA are of different readings in daily/H4/H1 chart regarding your TMA slope MTF
