Snowman,
Frankly, I am not sure. Thanks for your response.
You can turn range trading to false on the settings, but I have the same GBPAUD buy from yesterday, and comment is showing "pivot long" (NB10.2a). Looks like yesterday the 3 pivots were aligned for a buy, but today unfortunatelly DP is lower, and looking at weekly chart the uptrend may not last much longer.

There was a bug in DP calculation which may have caused wrong entries, but it is already fixed now.

However I am still getting some strange lot size, although it only happened with this exotic pair: 0.74 sell usdhkd. I also noticed it took more trades than maxstacktrades value of 6, and the margin % went below margincheck setting too.

Hi Mike,
... are you using all default settings including trading hours ?
Yes
Do you just let the bot run until tp/sl ?
Yes
any manual intervention ?
No

I have set up a different account with 10.2a
Today it looks as though I am going to loose my profits of 10.2 ... but I do not interfere and will let know by time.
Best Mike

That's very interesting, Mike. I ran 10.2 on an earlier version of the bot, and it lost a bunch. Ran 10.2a for a while and it looked much better -- made about 8.6% last week on v1.1.7.

Unfortunately 10.2a on v1.1.10 is terrible. It's lost about 17% in a day and a half. I'm pulling the plug on it.

Did you fix the pivot calc bug in 1.1.10 or update to 1.1.11?

I did and I'm only down 9% .... so far. :D

Had a simillar experience here, running 10.2a on last 6 versions were very profitable but experienced huge drawdowns with the last 2 versions of 10.2a. It seems in version 1.10 & 1.11 the stops are calculated using the weekly pivots the previous versions were using the monthly pivots with some buffers which could keep one in trades longer without being stopped out. Having said all this the market condition for the past 2 days has been erratic, if you notice on most instruments with trpplle alignmnents of the 3 pivots price, price is either below the weekly open for the longs and above the weekly open for the shorts which might imply from my experience the market might be going through a trend change or correction or something call it whatever you like to trade with caution or use the hedging EA to reduce your drawdowns

Similar here. Nothing to do with the version though imo - just the market. Was looking promising but....not right now!!

Hey Alex,
give it a chance, there's been some fundamental changes from 1.1.8, Try resetting your fxpage thingy. look on the top right for the 'analyze date' button, first set the start date and then hit the red thingy and it will set the new start date for your account from when you start 1.1.11. Just make sure theres at least one closed position for the date you choose.
then you get a clearer pic of the new EA.

Alfisti George,

I didn't know the custom analysis was modifying the widget too !
So I will try this out ;-)

Anyway, this is clearly not the best market for NB10.2a, and that's the reason why
we need multiple systems.

Regards
Alex

Yesterday and today are unmitigated disasters as far as 10.2a is concerned. I am going to let the situation play out to see what happens. I do have a concern in that I currently have/had 13 open orders when the bot called for a maximum of 6. I discovered the excessive 9in my opinion) stop loss situation and changed from ATR to 100 pip stops. I don't know if that will be good or bad but we'll see what happens. If this was real money rather than demo I would probably be passing the 39th floor on the way down after jumping off the roof. (Old joke...so far so good.)

Hi Alex, yes it can.
it's the way i use to keep up to date when i change an EA on my demo platforms. Only thing is, i stop the 'old' ea for a day so theres no trades for one day, only one that i manually do so i can 'see' the cut off day. You need this when you do your own analysis on the actual platform so you can clearly see where the transition happened.

Anyways, It seems i'm having a better day than most with my Multi's. I'm running them seperately and also in-between some other ea's on other platforms and until this afternoon, GMT+2 by me, it was quiet and then boom, multi came back from the dead. I cant pinpoint where the issues are, but i know we are in good hands in this forum.

regards and stay well,
cuz
