Here is the EA from Frank and also include a simulator to test it with. instructions are:

The attached .zip file has a working simulator for 10.4. Place the .ex4 file in the experts folder, the .dll file in the libraries folder and the .mqh in the includes folder. Add the EA (TS104_Simulator) to any active chart and simulate away.

Trying to get some clarity on the market here. The Daily CSS tells me there is a Euro currency on top, in the middle and on the bottom. The Asian currencies have a currency on top in the middle and on the bottom and the USD and CAD has one in the positive and one in the negative. Now that is clarity. I think I will go back to bed and suck my thumb.

A trader sent me a very good PM and I want to answer it here.

On the prior weeks we were watching the Daily CSS in the info page. With the new system and RAM saving I thought we will be watching the Daily CSS of the individual pair looking for strength/weakness of each currency same as in the Info Page.

So, looking at the inputs we have a Time Frame set to D1, but the Auto Time Frame is set to True causing that we are watching a CSS H4 on the H4 chart and not the D1 CSS.

The daily CSS or 10.4 info page has not changed. It compares all the different currencies with each other and lets us know which ones are running the strongest at the moment. Right now we can read it and know the GBP and JPY are running the strongest. NO need to look for JPY shorts until it shows weakness. Look for GBP buys. ETC.

The new CSS only compares the two currencies the chart is on. It lets you know of the two which one is stronger and which one is weaker. It helps to filter out getting in too early into the action.

I use a third filter and that is some knowledge of fundamentals. We will not see the same kind of JPY moves we did last month but when the BOJ starts buying bonds again and adding some more currency into the economy you will see JPY weaken and take the ride. How far it will go this month I dont know but it may or may not break its previous high/low on each pair. One of these months it will. I am looking right now for the bond buying date so I can be into those moves. This time though I will also be looking for when the move slows down and I can exit my positions. The new CSS will let you know on each pair. There will be months another currency maybe dominating the market (like further deterioration of China's economy and its effect on the AUD and NZD) or (more Euro News) or (USA congress and President have a budget, yeah right) and it wont move as much or not at all. The new CSS will give you that info so you arent guessing.

The use of the CSS on the info page is different than the CSS on each page. One is all the currency pairs compared to each other and the new one just the two pairs on the screen. I find the info valuable on both.

The old system entries (RSI2 based) were perhaps a more agressive (and active) trading style. The new CSS is more conservative, safer, and in nasty retracing weaks just as we are living now, will show few signals. This is the correct way when your are following trends, you don“t trade until the trend is resumed.

Before the new CSS, i had my conservative way to play 10.4, i used to enter the trade only when the retrace trendline was broken. This was boring most of the time and required more patience than simply put pendings. Now, I have already noticed (in lower time frames) that goldenrod appears just when the retrace trendline is broken, and this is a evidence of safe play. (You can use the moutaki trendline indi for a quick checkout)

In normal conditions, when the trend resumes, CSS will provide more signals than in rainy days. For now, is a bit frustrating, yes, but sometimes we need be frustrated to trade properly.

Bob, not sure if this is what you were after? Full link below

Tokyo markets will be closed for holidays on April 29, and then on May 3 and May 6. On May 1, the Ministry of Finance will offer 2.4 trillion yen ($24.12 billion) of 10-year notes. "Even though the sale is coming in the middle of two long holiday weekends, it should be decent with the BOJ buying so much of that zone.

Bob are we still taking care about RSI ? For me it very rare to have got good css color and rsi at right place. Ususally when color is following Ma240, RSI is on the other side that it should be.

Hey all,

Just finally finished reading every page, every post. Thanks so much Bob, Steve and every other code writer, contributer, poster and question asker here. Awesome forum.

Couple of days ago i put the CSS for individual pairs on every relevant chart to try and use it as a filter. This morning I hit page 374 and bam! Great stuff :)

Time to start trying this out on demo.

And 200 odd pages of CJ to go... o_O

Thanks again.

The RSI 2 is a time to start looking for your best entrance back into the trend indi. I can scan my charts quickly and when it is topped or bottomed I look at the trade. When you trade 20+ currencies like I do I need an attention getter that says LOOK AT ME. That is what RSI2 does. Sometimes it pins there for a half a week or more sometimes one or two bars. Either way It has my attention and I can look at my other tools I use to enter. Then when you see a chart pattern or a pivot line or a spike or a trendline break or whatever you like to use you can trade away. The CSS will tell be to slow down tiger if I see those lines are separated but if they are close and gold then I know a possible back into the trend move could be coming.

I still am aggressively trading 53 trades opened with 36 closed but my DD is so much lower. I have dozens of trades ready to go if the maket goes back into its trend but they come off the oboard i the color changes. I also have closed trades when the color changes.

I am trading from line to line and not compounding trades right now even though it looks like the AUD is a candidate for multiple trades and is breaking out into a trend.
