No such thing as a 100% indi. What you want is 70% or better and that makes a nice rate of return.

Hi,

I am practicing great CSS Indi and confirming CSS entry signals, while using 7/50 and 21/100 set up. I go with CSS_7/50 solid line cross and CSS_21/100 dottyd line div/convergence on daily TF to increase probability of entering/staying in trend.

What I would like to ask coders, to add comment to CSS v3.8 text to be able easily differentiate value, when they are on 1 charts like on pic. below, where I added manually in red. I believe, it may be helpful to many of us to read quicker chart if needed.

It is a great help.

Sending the file indicator with a change to the values are in alphabetical order.
With TF H4 and some cosmetic changes.
28 Pairs.Also with CADCHF

Make test.
Think you could possibly add MTF push / alerts to the DB? Such as:
WEEKLY CROSS
DAILY CROSS Agree with Weekly = MTF Signal Pushed

For other TF:
Change Parameter "timeFrame:CSS & left column" in Indicator

Chart D1+Indicator W1 ("timeFrame:CSS & left column" =W1)

Chart H1+Indicator H4 ("timeFrame:CSS & left column" =H4)

Chart M30+Indicator H1 (("timeFrame:CSS & left column" =H1)

Hi chaps

I'm new to this forum and I've been demo trading this indi along with the HGI signals; trading in the direction of the overall trend... I know (well I'm sure) that this indi is also used in HGI - however, when run alongside each other, there are conflicts in the large arrow signals from time to time (I'm using the h4 chart), however, this indi's signals give a few more reliable entries than the arrows on HGI. I must say, the blue wavy lines are awesome and I am not messing with those.

Does anyone have an explaination or a confirmation about why this may be the arrows may conflict and over a longer period of time, which would be more accurate?

I hope it was okay to do what I have done by way of some mods to Balluda SuperSlope indicator. I have been using it for a little while. I like it a lot and am in awe of the cooperative effort in producing it, I thought of a few details that might save me manually varying the inputs when I change timeframe. I shared what I did with a peer and he likes the mods and suggested I post it here.

The mods are documented but basically, as timeframe is changed, the next three higher TF's are selected. But just in case there is a preference to choose a different set of higher timeframes, I replicated the code block and gave them a number e.g. Set 1, Set 2, Set 3. In this version all three sets are identical. But if you study the structure, someone might be able to improve this further.

In particular, the relationships of "differenceThreshold" and "levelCrossValue" will require refinement. The power of the people (numbers) can really help nail this. It's easy to insert sets of numbers in Set2 and Set3 values then check a few Symbols then select Set2 /3 test to see if better or worse etc. Any thoughts??

I also did a couple of other minor mods and again hope it's acceptable to do this.

I posted this in a different section and was advised this is the best place.

Below my post "gprince66" did some more cleaning and added some alerts, so the latest version, that does what you want, is 2.2. (it seems "Newton51" didn't pick that version, so version 2.5 does not do what you want)

You need to add enough of the odd currencies so the CSS can read a strength of move. So you'd need at least 4 or more SEK crosses to get a decent read for the indicator.
