I am not using this EA but Steve's shell works the same way on all of his EA's of late. Prior to this, he used 2 or 3 different variables for trade sessions... I sound like I understand how he does it but I don't :)

I took the information from what I posted above and that is the use of a plural "extern string tr1a = "of start and stop times."; from my understanding within the code, it will start, stop, start, stop as many time as you want it too if you use the format he has provided.

The time start/stop was resolved by going in numerical order ie 0000, then 0200, then 1600, then 2300, etc... Today the ea entered 3 trades well above the DO. I use the DO, not the previous hi/low for entry and I made the sl .75 times ATR(5) and tp 1.5 times ATR(5). Using it more as a reentry than a daily play. Anyway, it was doing okay until these 3 trades entered and there is no reason for the entry.

So far have closed 6 trades with a small loss. 4 losers and 2 winners with 4 trades still open.

I think this will do better if all trades are equal risk. Rather than just using .01 lots, use the 1% risk setting. That would allow for the winners to outweigh the losers on all trades.

Hi All,
giving this EA a make-over. Have not had good results so far, so going to reset the demo on the list and made the following changes by Hardcoding the EA.

1% risk.
Changed volatility to 60% and TP and SL to 500 pips to allow for space. I dont want to SL or TP out but rather using the JS and BE method.
Allowing both methods to trade, before using the day break method didnt work.
Look back candles @ 120 also.
Swaps are all positive and Slope changed to 0.3 and -0.3 on 1HR charts.

Ok. I was following your myfxbook page.
My test on EURUSD isnt that great either, but I will give it some more time. I have a few % loss now.

Let's see how it turns out. Thanks for testing anyway!

Yep, ive given up on it, but there may be others who are still looking at it.
Havent heard from fxjoe if he found anyhting in the code that might help either.
