Hmm ... not sure - but it seems to me, that Brian is refering to the Crossfader mix named "KG from Getting" ? Although not sure ... :?

As I understand this KG thingy failed and Jose already improved it, to run it now as "CF Full Monty v5" ...

It was this one AGT

I remember JL posted it and then deleted it ..I thought you might have tested it :)

No, didnt test it - I waited a bit to see what will happen with this newer bot - and right done it was in this case !
So the next step will be the mentioned above v5 - this new EA version is linked now in the bottom of Joses posts !

It was something like this
xMeter will select and manage the pairs to trade, will run hard stop losses and take profits, and will open the first new orders.

Crossfader then will manage the second orders and so on, the whole opening of new orders and the soft take profits.

Perhaps, joining two programs will not conduct to a better new program, but I am posting this hybrid as an idea to study.

So at the end of this week we got a lesson :shock: : In the case of the NewCF7SR it’s clear now, that in any case it makes no sense to use the higher TF’s. So only the TF’s M15 and M30 are good enough. Even the M5 is dangerous, but perhaps possible for use. In any case the start capital must be really not less than 5 k (using 0.01 lot) ! :roll:
So I’ll switch off the H1 and H4 test soon and abandon the higher TF’s – furthermore only some diversified settings for this bot will be tested on M30 and perhaps on M15.
Btw a bit surprisingly for me are the results for the NewCF7SR using higher starting capital (with Cowboy Go Markets demo: see the account “TGTFX” in the thread “AGT’s EA portfolio”) – wouldn’t expect that: no deep DD’s quite good results/gains !


Concerning the XMeters we have a looser too: the settings Ursus Bovarius proposed for the EA “XMeter NSNA” are obviously not the best ones – these aggressive settings give a higher gain for a distinct time – but in the trend phases they fail. But that’s in fact nothing special – we know that already. So far the version 4b UB posted recently is doing much better – but lets he what will happen during the coming weeks. ;)
Not sure about ovisuns Friday version – the DD is already rising up.
ONLY the XM’s Ghia/Greta (and the older evo v10 without hedging) are so far able to resist the current storms on the forex markets.

Ok - so I added this week some more (new) demo accs with the NewCF7SR (on GlobalPrime). The setfiles I use are included in the excel tab I attached below.
Lets see how they will do during market stroms !
Concerning the XMeters - it seems really, George (cuz) is quite right insisting on Covering = false. All the settings UrsusBovarius proposed failed - so its better to use only very "conservative" params - no marty, no cover, no hedging and so on ....
