Change your chart template to something other than the default. For some reason the grid color is the same as the background color, so comments don't appear. You can just change to the black on white color scheme by pressing <F8> on the chart.

thanks for your quick reply and also for providing the info on countering unmatched data errors. I applied what were advised but I am getting roadblocks.

Test#1: Use another Empty4
I downloaded Empty4 directly from MetaQuotes and also toggled the dll calls.
Using OOTB settings, there were no results from Strategy Tester.

Test#2: Use data from History Center
I then used the MetaQuotes' Empty4 and downloaded the history from History Center.
Using OOTB settings, there were no results from Strategy Tester.
This time, the errors were all 131 invalid trade volume.

Is there any other broker I can use? I was using GFT demo for Simple Spider EA - the Strategy Tester and Management Alert were working.

I changed to the [black on white] scheme but the management alert does not appear.
I also differentiated the background color from the grid color and still the management alert does not appear. Any ideas?

I'm not sure what to tell you. I downloaded the version I uploaded, put it on Cowboy IBFX demo and OOTB it took a trade. I also ran it in strategy tester and it worked fine.

When you drop it on a chart, you should see to entries in your Journal:

Try changing the color scheme in the Strategy Tester windows as I mentioned earlier. I'm pretty sure it's the fix in strategy tester. Still looking at the other errors.

This just means you closed the chart. Well, that's what the documentation says it means. :D

REASON_ACCOUNT      6     Other account activated.
Not sure why you are getting the divide by zero. The only division I have added is dividing by AccountBalance(), the multiplier and MarketIndo(Symbol(),MODE_TICKVALUE). Can you run the script at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... f=21&t=205 and paste the results? I want to make sure your TICKVALUE is normal.

Can you make sure you don't have any other indicators running? The log from earlier shows that you had Cowboy IBFX Terminal Info running. It uses the comment feature too, so they would be constantly overwriting each other.

Nothing weird there (other than the output looks horrible with pairs that have suffixes!). Go ahead and turn off the DoneForTheDay() check and see what we get.
