I linked this thread in my forum and I already see support from my moderators.
I'm sure many of my users can learn new things about the software here. Also the opinion of users, not directly connected with the project is very important for me.

I'll definitely link the Doug's videos in my website (if he allows it of course).

I'm a technical guy. I can much easier write 1000 lines of code instead of 300 lines of help info. I understand formulas and algorithms, but cannot always clearly explain my thoughts. That's why I appreciate Doug's work so much.

Thank you Doug once more!

"Please anytime you see something you wish to comment on feel free to make yourself at home here."

Thank you. I want to add very tiny note to your intro: FSB uses symmetrical strategies. It means that the Short trade logic is mirrored Long logic. That's why, we enter only long rules in FSB / FST. There atwo reason for that:
1. Easier work with the program. Less things to adjust.
2. Removing possibilities to fit a strategy to current trend. For example, to exploit long trade on an rising market and to fail later, when the market changes.
I just added it for you in post 1. :D I did not think of it till video three I took it so much for granted but when I redo the Intro video eventually I will send a script over to you to look at and see if there is anything you wish to change or add. I hope to do that once I can start sleeping again  I can never sleep this time of year when the days are so long.

I would be very happy to collaborate with you with more videos in what ever way that works best for you.

Go ahead and link the videos I would be delighted to have them available in your forum. Thank you for the kind comments. I am delighted to make videos and any help from you will be certainly appreciated in making them as accurate as possible.

There will be a new version of FSB version 3 coming out soon. Any new videos will be made for that version and I will be working in collaboration with Mr Popov and his forum moderators to make hopefully several videos on the new version covering different topics.

Doug,

I was wondering if there was a way to put in place scaling into positions and if price action goes against trades to start scaling out?

Basically I trade by risk management and I was looking to see if the software has a module for that or logic to apply?

Thanks...

Yes there is ... You will find this under the strategies properties popup in the left hand corner where it will be under the title of Handling of additional entry signals. There are several choices in the menu in that corner.

Handling of Additional Entry Signals

Next same direction signal behavior - Adds to a winning position
Next opposite direction signal behavior - Reduces the position

Doug, I afraid it's not exactly what @TraderDesk requires. As I understand he wants reduction of the position when the market start going against the position. Such feature is not available at the moment.

What "Next same / opposite direction signal behavior" options do is to expand or reduce the position when there is another entry signal.

One simple example:

Image

We have here the following settings:
Next same direction signal behavior - Add to the position
Next opposite direction signal behavior - Reduce the position

Lets have this strategy on D1 chart. It will open a new position at the beginning of the bar (actually 00:00 h). The position will be long, if RSI is rising and short if RSI is falling.

At next day. FSB will check the RSI direction and if it is rising, the program will add one more lot (or what we have set) to the position. In case, if RSI is falling, FSB will reduce the position.

The position will be closed finally at Friday evening (closing point: Week Closing).

We see that the adding and reducing is not activated by changing of positions result, but only when we have another entry signal. Depending of the entry signal direction, comparing with the current position direction, we have adding or reducing.

Indeed RSI reflects the market direction which makes strategies behaviour near to the @TraderDesk request but not exactly same.

Such feature can be implemented by using some type if partial stop loss. I'll see If I can make something similar when I finish with the new releases.

Exactly... and if I need to scale out of positions I like to do it based on price and a smooth Heiken Ashi level that could be based on a 15,30 or 1 hour chart as an example...

Thanks...

:D Thank You Mr Popov, for the explanation and bailing me out. We all just learned more about the program and we can all look forward to any changes that can be made by the author of the program.

Thank You TraderDesk for such a great question.

Fellows I am no expert on this program but we have the guy who is the expert in the thread and he can make the changes we want to the program and I appreciate that a whole lot. So keep your input and questions coming and we will have a better program and great thread. I think one place we can count on great questions being asked is here in Steve's forum where there are so many bright guys and gals.

Started another account as a demo for the strategies that seem to have some hope. This is the Myfxbook of that Demo. Of course analysis by magic number is the best way to approach a look at these results. To soon to say anything here about these.
