so here is the question.. do we take our trade after the 80, or after the 20
at the nearest ooo line , DO or pivot, or what you think best i would say.

That is how I have it. It will either continue to range or reverse. On the 10.6 info page USD near the top and AUD is near the bottom. However the USD is showing reversal of strength. So you get a range from that info also.

Candle closes are only important to people who trade candle patterns. Other than that they dont mean anything. For example a 4H candle has one open and one close. BUT it has 4 1H open and closes, 8-30M open and closes, 16-15M open and closes 48-5M open and closes. That totals 77 candle open and closes in 4H period. So which one did you want to use.

I've been absent from posting for quite some time, but I just want to say this is very impressive what you have done here Bob. Will you now be moving away from the 10.4 thread and mostly posting in here from now on?

Yes because this upgrades 10.4. I made all the definitions more specific with the big difference being the xxx.00 lines and the 60 MA being used to define end of trends and range areas. With these definitions you know where your trades sit very quickly.

For example usd/cad you can gather this information right now. If you have any buy trades you know they are in trouble.

Great Info Bob, So as I see it there are several trades setting up tonight but none have fully confirmed. As of right now I am flat and patiently waiting. I think the JPY pairs could be good this week. :D

Great stuff Bob, great stuff. Looks like maybe a teacher put this together!!! It may seem a little complicated to somebody seeing it for the first time but to those of us who have seen it progress from basic definition to what you have today it is not so hard to understand. It certainly has taken me from a novice trader with minimal market knowledge to a far better understanding of trading the 4X market than I could have imagined and for that I give you my thanks. This certainly gives any trader a huge advantage in succeeding with their trading. We are all in your debt.....

Just some 10.6 info thoughts. You can see what currencies were strong and weak for the year. My favorite trading phrase of years ago was "What goes up must come down and What goes down must come up"

Jpy has spent a lot of time on the bottom and that was by government decree. However, it had its time on top also.

Eur/Chf follow each other around like Mutt and Jeff and AUD/NZD also follow each other around with the AUD taking the lead, except the last several weeks.
Cad seems to follow the dollar around also.
The GBP seems to bounce around the middle and doesnt get too strong and too weak.

SO the info page lets you know which direction a currency is going and when it is on the bottom or top it wont stay there forever and a reversal will be coming. The best pairs to trade seem to be:

1. the ones going up or down away from each other.
2. the ones just breaking into the top or bottom are trending the strongest.
3. the ones in the middle are ranging.

Now you have powerful information to know where to go look for trades.

So correct me if I am wrong.
1 - currently the NZD appears to be heading north and the JPY appears to be heading south. So would this be you highest probability trade to watch for? (buying NZDJPY)
2 - When you say breaking into the top or bottom, do you mean passing through the center line or something else?
3 - Or would passing through the center line mean ranging?

Hope that makes any sense.
Thanks
