for some reason this hasnt taken a trade for me since last thursday, and if i recall correctly wasnt trading every day last week either. global prime demo, no errors in journals tab or experts tab

any assistance would be appreciated

Mine trades, but it seems to just be random pairs, and only a couple here and there, no baskets are being opened.

I beg thee Steve, any chance this EA could be fixed? :) I think this bot will have lots of potential given my *thus* successful results based on Radar's OAT EA which also starts with OAD and then eventually trades move up in TF but only if they qualify, however, most of my trades seem to just stay with the OAD and very few trades actually get pushed up. Even so, after filtering out the losing currencies, my demo is doing pretty good so it would lead me to believe that this EA would also do quite well if working correctly :good:

Thing is, it is working perfectly here. It is hard to fix a fault that is not happening on my machine - and it is not necessarily a problem with the code.

All you are doing is saying, "It dun't wurk" without presenting any evidence that it dun't wurk. That does not tend to make me want to look further at anything. For example, have you checked that the 'missed' trades actually should have been sent?

How can I check for missed pairs? on the HUD it shows as 23 pairs that should be trading in the basket every morning and it's reading in all the information from all the pairs on the HUD but it just randomly opens only 1-4 pairs every morning instead, I'm just really not sure where to look otherwise I'd be happy to help find the issue :\ Also there's no errors in the logs at all so I'm kinda clueless :( The EA's are running on my dedicated VPS and I can give you my teamviewer login if you want to take a look yourself?

HI Steve,

Yesterday, my positions had all closed by lunchtime and I thought it would be interesting to see what happened if I used Once a Day to trade the New York session. It went well and was showing a combined open and closed profit when I went to bed. I set the positions to close at 24 hours broker time, as that was the latest setting I could use. When I looked this morning, the closed feature had not worked. As I have mentioned before, this seems to be working randomly on the vps platform I am using. As it has turned out, more positions have reached their TP through the morning and the remaining 6 trades are showing a combined 100 points loss. I will not be surprised if they eventually move into profit.

My question is:

Is there any way I can set the EA to open at 14.00, i.e. 30 mins after New York opens and close the next day?

Thanks for this toy - it really is working for me.

While your waiting for Steve's response, I thought I would chime in and metion that there is no 24:00:00 on the clock, so the EA never saw it pass. 23:59 would have been the correct setting, I believe. After the clocks says 23:59:59 it would jump to 00:00:00. now, I've never actually watched the clock when it flipps to a new day, but I'll betcha that's what happens 8-)
