try the attached one , it is a TmaTrue version (so not repainting) of the original. It should be the latest one..

Thank you - but I am thoroughly confused now. From reading the pdf, I thought Bob adjusted the True TMA so it will be faster, but still in similar patterns to the True TMA, and then this was applied to the CSS as well. The Wavies certainly seem to be a lot faster than the indicator you attached, or not?

I would be grateful to understand how this works for trading, not only follow the arrows. Thank you guys for all the amazing work and for sharing!

Morning,

Would like to add my thanks to Bob and everyone involved in the HGI project, i am enjoying the ride.

I have a quick observation for the coders amongst us...

I have attached 2 pics, 1 showing my settings in the inputs tab of HGI_v15.01 and 1 of a EU m5 chart.

In the inputs pic you will see that i have made the RAD arrows and range arrows the same colour as my chart background (slate grey) and have changed the main trend arrows to gold and silver.

On the EU chart you will then see that the original coded colours (lime green etc) still try and print (black X marks a RAD).. They are absolutely no trouble and are gone after a refresh but i thought the coders would like to know.

I have posted this in the beginners thread for fear of a tongue lashing from Steve if this is meant to happen :D ...

No, we decided to use calculations based to the TMA slope and not the CSS as they use less CPU power and the difference between a TMA slope value and the CSS Diff for a single pair are marginal so, TMA slope does the job.
Global wanted the latest version of the 10.2 TMA slope, so I posted the attached, as it is a totally Empty4 600+ version.

no you should do forward testing on a demo, so you will understand better how the indicator works..

Hi,

I like the idea that Bob put forward of how he stacks trades every 20 pips and I would like to test that using the H4 charts in a demo environment.

I have two questions that I have been struggling to find an answer to in the HGI thread and this one so I thought I would ask them here.

1. Using Bob's method of stacking, what would be the suggested Initial stop that I should try for each trade?
2. Could someone suggest the best pairs to trade this method with?

Hi all,

I am trading HGI on daily charts (no chance to trade TF 4H). I found several situations (see attach chart) where I do have RAD signals but no trend arrow before . Is a trend arrow needed to "confirm" the RAD arrow?

Just as an update here.

The answer to question 2. I am following the same pairs that Al is using. See this post

I am still unsure what original SL to use though. maybe that will be trial and error
