Angat, HGB is totally a different kind of Beast from PipCrusher.. Apples and Pears.

Just my two cents worth but given that PipCrusher is a long term trading system to my mind scalping a few pips with 30 TP on the Minitrades does not fully compliment the system.

Say you have 10 open trades. 5 trades go against you and say of those five trades they average amongst them 2 minitrades each. That is now 15 open trades going against you.

5 trades go in your direction and they hit all Minitrade TP of 30 pips, when those small gains are banked are they going to be enough to counter the 15 trades going against you? Because once they have all hit you are left with just the 5 main trades going in your direction, whereas if you left the minitrades open you would have 30 open trades going in your direction to counter the 15 going against you.

A bit of a simplistic example I know but I think that you get my idea.. Just thinking aloud here..

Currently on the 4H system which I have introduced the 20 Pips Mini Trades onto after the last 5% close yesterday I have 4 main trades going against me, USD is not doing so well, but I have just one good trade which has hit 3 mini trades all still open and that one trade GBPCAD has nearly taken care of the 4 trades going against me, luckily none of the losing trades hit any of their Minitrades but that is the beauty of the system they rarely do if they are going to go against you.

The 4H system has currently 36 open trades consisting of Main and Multi.

10 Main trades are going against me.
4 Multi trades are going against me.
5 Main trades in my favour
17 Mini in my favour.

Account is hovering around the break even at the moment. I think that this quite aptly demonstrates my point from the previous posts.

I get what your saying and that's why I have a few demos with multis set to off myself. There is also a number of people on here who are quite happy with the PP original without multis. It comes down to whatever floats your boat. The option for either way is available to us.

As for your 'what if' situation, I totally get it, but there is someone who is running a forward demo of PPoS with OOTB settings and has only hit a SL for a multi once in the last 6 weeks.

I'm not going to bother counting how many multi-wins of 30 there are, but I'm pretty sure he's ahead.

So yeah we can go 'what if this happens' or we can look at what is actually happening in a forward demo.

But again it comes down to whatever level of risk you feel comfortable with. :clap:

I haven't really been following along with your 4H endeavours, but all I'll say is this bot wasn't designed for any TFs other than the original. So getting unexpected/unfavourable results is probable. If you do manage to find a breakthrough on the 4H however, please do let me know about it.

I have tested all time frames and without doubt so far the one it was designed for works flawlessly and I really cannot see any major improvements in that area, maybe a few minor ones but it is not necessary.

The only other TF that has even come close to performing well is the 4H, everything below that is pretty dire and requires a lot of monitoring.

The EA is so good and versatile that it just screams test me test me..

Steve mentioned some time ago that this is nothing like HGB and that if you want a lot of action then it's not the bot for you..

Maybe just maybe with a few tweaks and a change in how you trade it but still keeping the original system idea it could be a bot for everyone, the patient slow traders and the I want more action traders.

I know I've said it before but after trading the bot on multiple time frames the 4H early results are looking most promising.

I haven't really been following along with your 4H endeavours, but all I'll say is this bot wasn't designed for any TFs other than the original. So getting unexpected/unfavourable results is probable. If you do manage to find a breakthrough on the 4H however, please do let me know about it.
Umm not sure what gave you the idea that I was getting unexpected/unfavourable results on the contrary the 4H is performing brilliantly even with the EUR rise and USD fall. Could not be happier with the results so far, I want to see markets do this because so far all I have been seeing is 5% after 5% being bagged.

You have mentioned some good ideas like multis set every 20% of ATR. That is the sort of idea that I want us to share. Specific ideas and observations that could be used for improvement.
