Here is one for enthusiastic bloop spotters. During Craptesting, RnR enters an endless loop where it is trying to close a trade that no longer exists, and is not allowed to exit the loop until the trade is closed. Ludo tells me that his has happened to him several times on demo today.

I cannot find it. Anyone here up for the challenge?

Damn, bollocks, buggery, crap fuck and any other expletive you guys want to add. Some of the code I added this afternoon has gone missing. Not a clue how. It just did.

V 1d is in post one with the fix for something or other that got unfixed whilst I was fixing something else.

This bloody EA worked perfectly until I started messing with it.

RnR isn't shy of trading either, it did 112 trades on 1 single pair today and made over 5% doing it's thing.
This way it pays for my VPS and lunch as well...

Had the same thing earlier - so here's my tuppence worth. I think it's the "while"s in the simple offset :

So could add a counter like:

Or would "break" rather than "return" get you out of it so you don't miss anything else?

The latest version with the replaced fixes hasn't stalled yet in craptesting. The counter thingy always works but I could not see where to add it. Let's just see what happens for now.

..... testing 2pip grid on demo and 5pip grid on cent account

Round 1.... 2pip vs 5pip

.. 2 pip = 1631pips (GP demo)

vs

5pip = 117pips (RF cent Live)

.. the (fixed) spread eats into my cent account a chunky chunk or two but huge difference none the less and both very positive for one day's hands off trading!!

Draw-down was only about 2 x with 2pip amazingly so going to reverse the test tomorrow
