FX VPS - Cheaper and faster than the rest!

Unfortunately I am locked into a 1 & 1 deal (although with a good service to date) but will switch as soon as the deal finishes

Hi all,

Thank you for your patience I have finally added a restart button to your client portal plus a couple of minor features.

To find the button login to your dashboard and then navigate to services-> my services https://fxvps.biz/members/clientarea.ph ... n=services (or just click here)

Select the server you wish to restart, that will take you to that product page.

There is now a green restart button on that page.

I've also added the following to that page:

VPS details so you dont have to hunt for it in your emails
'create rdp link' button which will create a shortcut for you to open (embedded password will come later)

I have some UX (user experience) items I need to resolve but if you have any suggestions or feature requests please feel free to reach out!

Eamon,

Not sure if this was asked before; is it an usuall server version of windows that is running the client-VPS?
Can I also install 3th party software such as a bookkeeping installation and such?
Office stuff like excel, word are optional?
Is there any virus software running?

I normally use Windows 7 instead of a server OS due to performance. If you want a server OS, i can definitely set that up for you but everyone has been happy with the W7 configuration.

Yes you can install whatever you like on it, its like having a second computer. I have installed bit defender Anti-virus but you can configure it or install your own.

I would prefer the ordinary W7, as I have no clue about the ins and outs of the server versions.
I suspect my current [non FX] VPS is slowing down into a crawl due to lack of maintenance.

Can you send official invoices for the rent?

Hi SH,

read that u r running 8 Empty4, i have been running 5-6 Empty4 now and would love to move over. I have contacted Eaymon's and love his personal service despite running the service by himself.

Please share the specs that you have purchased as I would likely need the 4g as i am now using up 2.5g cpu

I second this. I'm looking into setting up some test accounts (and possibly a live account) on a VPS as my local internet likes to randomly drop out (I think it's a modem/router issue but damned if I'm tackling that crap).

Steve, could you let us know what service tier you are in with Eaymon. If it's not too rude to ask, could you also let me know what EAs you are running. We have a very diverse selection of EAs here with very diverse system loads. It will be beneficial to know what you are running on what tier. This will help others to make decisions for their own use case.

Power tier - running 8 ea's at the mo on separate platforms. I reckon the tier would probably just about cope with two more.

Thanks Steve. The power tier is pretty epic judging by the specs. It should be able to run many multiple of the most resource hungy SHF EAs.
