Cycles within cycles within cycles......... Once seen, these patterns cannot be unseen. They are there for all to see. That is what Peaky makes easy for us to see.pacinvest » Sat Nov 24, 2018 6:55 pm wrote:(thanks Steve for all the reminders re Peaky, every time I put Peaky aside I end up coming back to it.......)
Hello LeonWavegarrick » Sat Nov 24, 2018 1:17 pm wrote:Hi Trader,
Thanks for your Pm. It has not been a great setup for anyone starting to test my set for the past week or so. Whilst I can say that I am still looking good overall I can also see that I would have battled if I started a week ago. My other concern is that some trades are starting to reverse and actually throwing away good profitable trades, and I don't intervene for the sake of a hands off system. This stands to reason as I am looking for a close on overall opposite trade signal only, without having trail stops etc. in the mix. Based on daily Hgi signals in the opposite direction it can mean hundreds of pips, especially if your timing is out of sync. On the flip side, of course it is only a matter of time and you could run trades into hundreds if not thousands of profitable pips.
Anyway your pm has made me go back and do some thinking. The Rsi cross Td v2 indicator has become an absolute must for me and thanks Thomas for coding it for me. You can add one more Rsi Td cross with my setfile based on rsi 26 and 2 or 5 cross on the daily timeframe. It captures short to medium term swings very nicely. And can get you out of profitable trades timeously.
A good Hgi combination to go with this is Hgi based on the 15 min and 1 hr t/frame or 15min, 1hr and 4hr time frame.
Anyway I am attaching a proposed trade chart template for anyone wishing to give it a spin:
Let me know if anything missing.
Have a great week.
Cheers

Yes quite correct, there should be 2 seperate signals. I saw that this morning. You can change the "Tdesk identifier" in the indicator settings to Rsi-X1 and the the next one to Rsi-X2 for the Daily timeframe and the TDesk dash board will pick up the 2 Rsi cross entries seperately.
Sorry about that.

Thanks Bill, please let us know how you go with this.I'm trying to refine entries using an extra stochastic indicator so I'll let you know how I get on.
