Only numbers on the right should be fine for now. I was thinking of this using the currency slope strength normal indicator and also with true. Kind of optional if possible. What do you think?
As my idea is of ratio hence CSSDiff will not be required.
Is it possible to create an EA for it so we can test that too. Too demanding may be. Feel free to reject my ideas. Thanks

I hope this is what you wanted...but only related to the currencies of the currency pair on the chart.

Please check if the ratio calculation is as you want it to be.

From the slope numbers the ratio has been calculated correctly. Now if we can come up with an EA for this it would be great. However, the EA should only consider a trade when one currency has slope above 0.4 and the other below 0. Thanks

This is a topic that I leave to steve...as he is the EA Guru here

The calculation is pretty simple and can be implemented to one of his other 10.2 EAs

I was wondering if anyone had modified the slope strength indicator to include lower TF? eg. H1 or M15. I had a quick crack at modding it myself but it would seem my programming skills are non-existent.

Also how difficult would it be to add an alert system? For example when slope goes over .8 an audible alarm sounds.

Finally thanks for your effort putting together the indicator, its much appreciated.

Slope Strength v1.0.2 already supports multiple Time frames. just drag a second SS on your chart and change the timeframe parameter.
If you mean the CSS than you can look here http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... f=37&t=639. This version also has an alert system with multiple levels but it shows only the css for the currency pair on the chart.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I dragged a second one already and had a play round with time frames using the same format as H4 (i.e. 1h = H1) but it just displayed D1 (assume the default). I also input 60 or other variables but it kept displaying the D1.

What would I input and were to make it for H1?

Which indicator are you talking about?
Look if there is a parameter autotimeframe and set it to false...then it should use the timeframe you defined.

Ok...now i see the Problem... in the original Slope Strength v1.0.2 timeFrame can only be H4 or D1.

After you apply this then you can change the timeframes.
