This s the problem I ran into with ShelleyJem without using any other ea and everybody indicated the need to refresh historical data, which in my case did not work. I sure did not expect this error to show up again with this bot. So I am just waiting till things clear up;-)

Hi all,

I setup BJeS with 1st group settings and let it go and gone out myself. Just came back and discovered that nothing happened. There was 7 pairs market as candidate for trigger but none of them traded. On my other account I put 5.1 EA onto NZDJPY and AUDJPY to buy them upon cross. Went up about 40 pips in just matter of half an hour. MPTM was doing the job automatically calculating profit target as a percent of balance. Not bad.

Armen - none of those pairs should have traded yet.

For a buy we need a close BELOW the d.pivot and then close ABOVE the d.pivot.
For a sell we need a close ABOVE the d.pivot and then a close BELOW the d.pivot.

This hasn't happened yet on any of the pairs your EA is watching.

Mine has taken one trade so far. NZDJPY buy and from what I understand it should take the second trade AUDCAD, but it hasn't.

hello Guys,

great ea here as usual!

i have set it up on demo and to see if it works as intended, i changed the pivot cross input to the m30 time frame instead of the h4. what happened was the ea kept opening and closing trades...like every second or so it would open 3 trades that met the criteria but then close it immediately. the cycle would repeat until i switched the experts tab off.

anyone experienced this? or is it because we cannot use m30 for the pivot cross option? thanks!

The code here uses a default 4 hr pivot cross timeframe which causes this problem i think.

Thanks for the info, strangely, seems to be behaving today & it never gave any problems on the VPS with same settings & broker too.

And as another poster noted, seems to me that it needs to be refreshed every so often?

I've noticed this also, today the GBPAUD was going between 0.59 and 0.61, so it would qualify to my setting of 0.60 but not appear in the EA list unless I changed time frame, then when it dropped back and should be off the the list, I had to do it again.

I am using the new Slope Value Indicator so it is easy to see which pairs will be on the trading list. Hope this can be sorted out; not good for running on a VPS if it half sleeping or whatever the proper term is.

yeah guys,

i noticed the ea doesn't do perpetual reading of the trading conditions so we have to refresh the ea for it to track the conditions n trigger the trades. i believe Steve will resolve this as soon as he is aware of the issues.
