Hello, yes I do trade XAUUSD exactly the same and TMA band for entry in an attempt to get in at a better price than a candle open since price usually retraces part of the previous candle. 0.2ATR band is close enough to price not to miss out on a good trade and certainly helps secure an extra few pips both sides.Matinvesty » Tue Feb 24, 2015 7:59 pm wrote:Thank you very much by giving details on your method TJF.

- As you know, Hurst is also great to define exit and/or the end of the move (equal distance past the crossover), have you ever check "MTF Hurst Target v1b" that plot the swing target and tried to include it in your method?

I have played with Hurst target but I found it too variable whether to shoot for 75%, 100%, 160% or whatever.. If you put it on a chart and compare it to where price ends up relative to the current hurst cycle/tma band once an opposite signal comes along you might see what I mean. It's a good indi though but where to draw the line?
