More than that in a full time job. you kind of come in looking for a trade and its asian chop session. by the time the UK gets going its time to leave office (thank god for logmein). and by the time the US gets going after london closes its like 2-3am. Yeap. i think its in already on the 15m last 2 candles. long pins up n down. (ok not very long) |

Hi all, Nanningbob, thanks very much for this super system. I find your macro analysis a revelation - much more concise and insightful than any other econonomic commentators in the mainline press. Thanks again to all the other traders and coders on this forum for their selfless giving, support and advice. Bob, you have finally got me into trading manually. You have most certainly taught me to fish! It is a bank holiday here in the UK and so we have a very slow Euro session which may well extend into an equally slow US session. This has got me thinking, given that we will shortly be approaching the slow ranging summer months, what changes, if any, should be made to the 10.4/5 trading plan? This question is of course open to all other members, so please chime in to your heart's content. Regards to all. For those in the UK, enjoy the sunshine......it will not last long! |

I do not see any major changes in the system at this point. The 240 MA line is in, pivots, S/R are in. RSI 2 is in and the slope indi is in with the bars. One change maybe the slope indi showing an exit point and that is being worked on. I do not see how I can improve on those areas. There maybe added an EA that will set the pending levels for you. One based on the 4 hour and one based on the 1H. Frank has his which I posted last week and hope some have tried out. INFO page is where the next set of changes will come. Baluda has come up with a brilliant one line that is telling you if the market of all lines is increasing the angle or decreasing the angle. What that means is if the angle is going up the market is getting more volatile and if it is going down the market is getting less volatile. I am playing with it now and it is an eye opener. Do I try for the big move or just take those 20-40 pip profits. Also using CSS 4H compared with the Daily lets you know if Angle is getting higher meaning movement is strengthening or Angle is lessening meaning movement is decreasing. If you put the three together you have a really nice story going letting you know that the market is becoming more dynamic and which currencies are the ones moving it. It will tell specifically (I hope) which currency pairs maybe be your best trades. Working on that now. My goal is to have a 10.4 info page that you can read and know these pairs are moving or slow day today or ooooooops I am on the wrong side of that one gotta get out. This may take me a couple of weeks to finish but I see the potential already. Then I believe it will be the most complete dynamic system on the market. But first I have to wrap my mind around Baluda's new indi and make sure I understand the meaning of the line and how to use it. Brilliant piece of work. Just brilliant. |

Looking at the intra-day trade for GBP/JPY and here is what I see at this time: Potential pullback on a yet to finish bear divergence. It has not finish but it is forming so keep that in mind. Buy limits place on daily pivot lines... I like to place bigger limits the further down we go as that works with my risk management... |

Hi Bob, Is the Angle indie available to try? I would love to give it a go and see how it fits into the swing trade. Otherwise I will wait for when it is ready... |

what the bulls would like to see is no fall down. meaning a line of sticks held. usually if indeed it is going to be bearish we would see the sell off begin. i guess because london is close. its kind of flattish. but the longer it stays at this price...the less the case for bearishness. and that means more sticks horizontally lined up. |

Bob, Many thanks for the prompt reply. I thought that 10.4/5 had everything pretty much covered. The improvements in the pipeline I believe will be something that will provide a comprehensive 24x365 trading strategy. Cant wait to take readings off the new info page! Baluda, thanks for your continuing efforts on the coding front. |
