There are a number of options that can be switched on: Hanover, CBI, etc. There is also a TrendDetectionModule that uses AllAverages or RSI to determine a direction. If any of those are activated then that will reduce the # of trades.

If all of those options (and possibly others?) are switched off, then I think it collapses back into the stoch model I described. You'd have to look at the setfile you use to see if any of those are switched on in your test.

I asked Shelley a few weeks ago to clarify exactly how she trades it now so I could update my Tradestation backtest, but she's been gone and hasn't responded.

It doesn't catch the top of a move. It doesn't enter until the stoch has dropped from >80 to <75 -- or possibly >80 to <80, that seemed to be what the post 1 EA does. The market has to move down a bit before the stoch drops that far. See e.g. these examples from my Tradestation test:

I just tried something: instead of waiting for it to go > 80 and then < 75, I changed my TS system to wait for it to go > 80 and then come down 5 from its max value. So if it runs up to 91, it will enter when the stoch gets down to 86. This seemed to make a big improvement in some pairs, not much in others.

With that change, I experimented with changing the trigger level. Trading when it gets > 70 & then drops 5, or < 30 and raises 5, looks really promising. I'll keep poking at it.

Your Tradestation test looks great. I like your entries. They seem to be perfect entries. At the moment, my overbought/oversold are 75 and 25. Maybe this would give me more entries than >80 and <20. I will see how this setting goes. If it's profitable, I will keep this setting. If not, I'll keep the overbought higher and oversold lower. I begin to edge closer to this EA's behavior. Thank you for the clarification.

Hi fx8000,
Am using an EA that closes all trades when profit reaches an input USD amount, which could be used for your purpose. It's not in % profit, so you would need to calculate the target value to input. Another EA is for closing all at a specific USD amount. Both are attached herewith. I apply these to GBPJPY M1 chart for frequent refreshing.

If anyone can add codes to allow input in % of balance, that would be a great improvement.

The profit/loss line graph is drawn by an indicator, which is also attached.

Your dashboard looks great. Mind sharing the indicators used and your template?
