Hi everyone, Just started reading up here a day or two ago, kudos to all involved in this creation!!! I've been mulling over the logic in the different settings.. Is it possible that when using "Risk %" & "Use Equity" we could get into a situation where for example:
Jon PS. Is it possible to backtest the ea JUST and that's a big assed JUST, to get a visual on the different settings? My gut says HGI and Strategy Tester won't get on. |

Hi Steve and Kevin, Not a biggy, but noticed that HGB n' G (2m) is showing 'OUTSIDE OF TRADING HOURS" even though I have it ootb with 24hrs trading. It is still placing trades. This is also the case with 'Holy Grail Bob and his MA, in a hedge' (1l) Kind regards Richard |

Wow! Today must've been the worse trade day ever for me with HGBnG. Nearly -900 pips floating down. I think I must re-evaluate what I am doing with this monster of an EA. 28 pairs overtrades the market way too much for me. Has anybody had any long term testing to conclude any pairs that are stronger or weaker in successfully trading the HGBnG EA? Out of 28 pairs, I could choose to only trade the Majors but that doesn't mean they are going to be more successful because they are the majors, Just wondering if others can comment on their experiences of success or failure with any specific pair or pairs? Pat, may I ask what time frame and broker you are on. I'm running HGBnG on H4 with Global Prime and had no such buys triggered. In fact I have had no orders placed on GU since Sydneys Tuesday session. Not complaining, GU has pulled in just over 480 pips since booting HGBnG up on Sunday . Just want to make sure I haven't ballsed something up. I've been away from the terminal for a while now  |

V 2n is in post 1. Anyone who failed to notice that LUC brought his buddies around for a light lunch needs to start paying more attention. Kevin and I have bin talkin, and 2n attempts to block off a few of LUC's entrances. Shed loads of closed pips today. Crap loads of DD after all the trades closed. Everything is in place to deal with upcoming market movements, so patience is key now. Wouldn't it be lovely if just now and again, the bloody markets cooperated and simply soared/plunged in the direction of our initial trades? Damn and blast it to hell and back, they sill soar/plunge in the opposite direction at the drop of a bloody hat. Or even a non-bloody one.  Hey ho.  |

I have been watching the screens all day today. On one demo it make $170 and DD is $308 but it looks like it's trying to get out of it. Like you said it just needs a push to one side. On another it made $203 with $147 DD and that seems to be doing little better crawling out. Going to go home and see how it's doing on GP demo... so far I'm loving the feed on GP and it's been the one to take the lead in profits. I wanted the EA to go in DD and see it come out... so we can see it's true colors. At home my demo is doing $300 in profit and $108 in DD. Not bad, all three demos are using 3k starting funds.

Hi Pat, I have somewhat different results. I'm running OOTB with all days (except Saturday) as active. THe demo was put in place Sunday night (Melbourne time) so the results below are for this week only. I have HGI running on the charts too just to get a feel for HGBnG and there is no buy signal for me last night I have also updated HGBnG as Steve releases builds (or snippets) over the past few days. Maybe this is where some of the more major differences come from. However, it still doesn't explain the difference in signals Cheers, BobbyT PS: there is a bit of DD at the moment but from what I've seen so far this should be a problem. |
