I already saw your message on FF and actually are one of the people who advised you here...

Action to all Frenchman here is a colleague from you who needs some help.

I think you would be a great asset to our bunch.

The Screen shots of your work I saw are looking very professional and it seems like a big project.
It would be great if you publish it here. Many good and knowledgeable Programmers are lurking around this forum.

happy weekend and welcome,

NeoTrader

Thank you for encouraging me.

But First I can't see a way a member can open a thread on this site ....

And I don't doubt that you can bring a lot to the system (a lonely hand can't applaude :)) ... as I learned a lot from you and what I did is only a synthese of all what I learned from you ...

Now ok the coding is 19000 lines of Empty4 ...
The Command Part is in C++
The conception (I hope is robust as it is an open system and it can suits to every trader) ..
The very +++ of this system is the command tools ... because I know that all EA has a risky part like everything in this world .. but to be able to pilot a trade in real time is a way to limit all the risky part

So let's give a try ... and please tell me how can open a thread .
thanks

Hi Gabriel,

I don't know if you addressed me, but you're welcome.

At the Bottom of the Forum Index Page should be a Button "New Topic". Punch it.. ;)

I think this is addressed at Steve...and I also agree that i learned a lot here, not about programming per se, i do that for a living, but about mql and MTcrap. ;)

Bruhaaa...19000 Lines in Empty4...this is absolute crazy... ;) Did you modularized the code somehow? It is sometimes since i worked with C++ but will see...maybe we get something out of it.. ;)
I am really excited to see your command tools and what you put together there. But i think we should do this conversation when you opened your thread. If you have Problems try to PM Steve... maybe he can help you where to start your thread.
I would say the right Forum to start is "Automated trading - here are the EA's".

Hi Neotrader,

I can't see anything like "New Topic" ... so maybe Steve can create it ...
as for the 19000 Lines nothing to worry ... its half graphics for indicators and the other part is for signals that relies on indicators ... and engine and rule ... :)
the communication part is very easy and small ...

And for the C++ part ... also very easy the only thing It uses is a dialog box and a Network programming library that I did in my carrier that do all the job and you don't have to know about it .. :)
Here a good C++ programmer can focus only on the presentation and the functionnality ... the dialog between Empty4 and the program is transparent ...

You'll see it is simple ... I message Steve tomorrow morning to put everything

Happy Weekend

as for modularizing I have tried to do so but it was a little bit complicated ...(function with variable parameters can't be in extern .... etc) so I quickly stopped not to loose focus on the principal...

I agree with Neo -- 19k lines of MQL!? PLUS C++ command code? I know nothing about this system yet but I'm boggling at the complexity it must have to require that much code... even if half of it is graphics. (It must be a very pretty EA!! :D) And I'm also leery because with system design, complexity is not your friend.

One thing that may be confusing you about starting a thread: you have to be *in* a forum before you can start a thread there. You can't start at the main board index. So choose a forum -- probably the first one, Automated trading - here are the EA's -- and look for the "New Topic" button at the bottom of the screen.

You can have a sneak peak at http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread. ... ost5763427 where he posted a small intro and description what he wants to accomplish and also two screen shots.

I am really interested to see the level of complexity in his code. And also what IDE he used to do this.. ;) This is nothing you can do with Metaeditor.. ;) Or you would do if you are a masochist.. ;)

Happy sunnday,

NeoTrader
